Still basking in the euphoria of a majestic outing at our 36th Choir Anniversary, we continue to lift our hearts in thanksgiving and give all glory to God for His unfailing faithfulness.

In the words of the Gloria from the Sung Eucharist by the late Sam Ojukwu, we proclaim with one voice the praise that belongs to God alone:

“Gloria in excelsis Deo.”

As we marked the 36th Choir Anniversary of the Anglican Church of the Ascension, Opebi, we began our celebration with the timeless hymn, "Be Still, for the Presence of the Lord." A fitting introit, reminding us that before every song of praise, we first acknowledge the majesty and holiness of God.

May this recording draw your heart into His presence, bringing peace, worship, and quiet reflection.

Please relax, listen, and be blessed.

"Be still, for the presence of the Lord, the Holy One is here."
