It was so great meeting you @joellawriting last week at @thoughtsfromapage book salon. I really enjoyed your conversation with Cindy Burnett discussing your most recent book, The Top Of The World. As I told you I loved your book so much, it will be in my top favorites for the year.

A smattering of my favorite reads published in Q2 (April-June 2026) 📚

I’m delighted to talk books as a regular guest on the @thoughtsfromapage podcast. Cindy and I recently chatted about our best reads of Q2 and I added some more great books to my toppling TBR. This quarter has some amazing book club picks and many of these titles will land on my best of the year list.

What have been some of your favorite recent reads?

🎧Comment PODCAST to have our Favorite Reads of April through June 2026 episode sent straight to your DMs.

Many thanks to the tagged publishers and authors for the gifted copies: @zibbypublishing @emmagreyauthor @sarahdamoff @simonandschuster @calliemurray @joellawriting @scribnerbooks @avidreaderpress

Bookworms looking for a third space in today's modern world often find it in Cindy Burnett's home. Her literary salons bring both local and nationally-renowned authors to have in-depth conversations about themselves, their author journeys and the behind-the-scenes tea they rarely chat about anywhere else.

On the latest episode of All About Books, the relatively new Richmonder shares how she was able to bring her successful salons with her from Houston and what feels most special about Richmond.

To watch the full episode, click the link in bio or stream it on your smart TV on the WRIC+ app, YouTube, Facebook or Spotify.

I absolutely lovedddd The Calamity Club (by @kathrynstockettauthor ) and counted down the days until our book club gathered to talk about it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
