Thank you for 10k! 🥹💐 here’s fun facts about me for those who are new here:

🌸I’m a professional artist of 19 years,
and was hired for my first mural at 16 years old

🖼️ I am a recording, visual and performance artist.
My favorite mediums are poetry and painting.

🎨 In 2022 my nft and performance art was featured during #friezeweek with in collaboration with @thpe.nft curated by the beautiful soul @jeanneannheo

📺 In 2020 I was featured on @insecurehbo for their award winning art market episode. I make a .5 second cameo 😂

📚 I have 2 bachelors in art and ethnic studies from Cal Poly Pomona.

🪬 I am a trained Reiki practitioner and enjoy holding rejuvenating space 1 on 1 for selected folks.

💎 My EP #mvpiii , album Heaven Here and more are all on bandcamp! And all streaming platforms next month ✨

🌹 One of my favorite flowers is the ephemeral night blooming cereus. I also love red roses and white orchids (free hints for the people who say they got crushes on me lol)

💐 Speaking of flowers, offerings especially of flowers and central to my spiritual, professional, communal and personal work.

🇯🇲 I’m a proud granddaughter of a Jamaican immigrant, Gwen Pitter (now ancestor 🕊️), and proudly celebrated her 100th birthday in 2019.

🌅 Sunsets, oceans and painted clothes are always my go to.

🎙️ I grew as a poet thorough the historic poetry venues @micanddimlights and @lionlikeartcommunity , and credit much of my skill to having space to grow there.

🪷 My favorite mural I event designed was Lotus Rising located in Venice 2022-2023 for @belevated.holisticwellness , with a beautiful moment capture here featuring @queenafua

📕 I Published my first book of poetry “On Blooming” in 2018, in print and digital copies. You can request those from me directly!

this evolving light is one of my favorite creations to date. ✨ what you are viewing is the vulnerable action of me removing my crown. taking the weight off that we so gracefully carry. expressing the depths of my heart, philosophies and spiritually journey. Accompanied by the poetry audio “Light Study #27”, I am finding ways to give unique poetry expressions a different voice and it feels incredibly right.

i have so many stories to tell,
through this art and about the process.

Tonight!
Wednesday 3/9,
I’ll be sharing a presentation about my NFT series #HeaveHere
at the Ace Hotel 7-9pm.

It’s a free event! Featuring other amazing folks, in collaboration @originalsnation and hosted by @tommyljohnson

These platforms are important. ✨

The discussion of the work is just as important as witnessing it.

I’ve been studying, practicing and personally mastering a collection of modalities for 10 years. I’m also simply a Black woman, connecting to my indigenous heritage and soul callings of what paths best serve me in this life. It’s almost impossible to separate that from my art at this stage.

These stunning moments are from the @thpe.nft Freize Art week show “Sovereign Soul”
captured by @rootrats
curated by @watamusic & @sister_nunchi
org founders @nicole.christi & @mrnonsequitur

Lastly,
the GORGEOUS 3D work projected on to me/as me/with me in the setting of @hubblestudio soundstage, is from the mind of @tella_man . ✨✨ Michael we still have so far to go with this!!!! thank you for your work and understanding, in this evolving life and artistic process with me. this art is profound to me, and you gave it a visual soul. THANK YOU. i see so much more from this.

Also everyone!!! Michael Tella @tella_man is a talented Nigerian artist, please support his work. He has been our consistent gem at @afrozero.nft

so catch us tonight IRL or Ilivr streamed! 7pm PST

Blessings and Gratitude fam,

Feeling incredibly proud…. Life’s highs and lows are intensifying, and calling us all to more powerful leadership. 💎

Outside of this digital highlight reel that is not a whole depiction of my authentic life… I have been birthing projects I am SO proud of. One bright gift was certainly this exhibit with the amazing Web3 project @thpe.nft ! featuring my #HeavenHere series (an @afrozero.nft & @tella_man collaboration)

thank you again angels
@watamusic and @sister_nunchi
