Friends!

I’m going to be at Secret Dreams next weekend in Marengo, Ohio. I’m going to photograph and film for The Living Room Art Lounge that Rachel and Robb are taking to the festival to install and show all weekend. I am looking to do more work for more people while I am there. I should have plenty of down time to do whatever creative projects people want to get done over the weekend

Painters, flow artists, musicians, the festival… I’m open to any and all things while I am there. I’m going to try to be as nimble and affordable as possible for whatever anybody is looking for, so please help me in spreading the word

These are some old photos from Port City Heavy in 2024 that I don’t know that I ever shared. Love you, artners. I’m super excited to stand next to you all over this weekend

P.S. Huge thanks to Rachel and Robb and The Living Room Art Lounge for bringing me with. Can’t wait to capture all the wonderful moments and memories with and for you

Well, that was a weekend full of inspiration. It was the perfect blend of new and old! I had so much fun adventuring over to @reggies42ndstreet and seeing more of our local punk scene on Friday. Then on Saturday, it was great to be back to @palmroomwb painting for @dr.baconbandofficial and @mygalmonday . Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hi!

I disappeared for a few days because life forced me to slow all the way down.

Being sick has a funny way of showing you what’s really important.

Three friends showed up with care packages. My son kept making sure I had Gatorade. People checked in just to ask how I was doing.

I spend a lot of my life trying to love people well. Cooking meals. Making art. Showing up. Encouraging others.

This week, I got to experience what it feels like to be on the receiving end of that kind of care.

What a gift.

It reminded me that the life we’re building isn’t measured by likes or productivity. It’s measured by the people who show up when you can’t.

I’m feeling like myself again today, and I couldn’t be more grateful.

Here’s to good health, good people, and getting back to creating. ❤️ #community #care ##slowdown #rest

My first workshop.

We talked about heartbreak, healing, unhealthy patterns, growth, and the stories we carry.

Then we turned those stories into art.

Watching people transform pain into wisdom and paint those symbols onto one another was one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had as an artist.

Art creates conversation.
Conversation creates connection.
Connection creates healing.

Thank you to everyone who showed up with an open mind and an open heart.

I can’t wait to do it again. #community #workshop #alchemy #how2risebook #bravery

It’s wild how many moving parts hide inside a dream.

You think you’re making a book.

Then suddenly you’re approving proofs, signing prints, organizing shipping supplies, counting stickers, and learning more about fulfillment than you ever planned to know.

And somehow, piece by piece, it all comes together.

The sticker packs have officially landed, and every little step makes me more excited to get these rewards into the hands of the people who helped bring this project to life. ✨

See you on the other side of fulfillment.#stickers #kickstarter #dreamstoreality #artpack #how2risebook

I was having a conversation on camera with somebody today and we were talking about the “why and why not of this and that” and I realized after I left that conversation that I’ve been so afraid of letting people understand my brain and my eye and my art that I never posted things because of fear

And then I started thinking about things I never posted out of fear, and I remembered this event. The first day I ever tried flash photography. And I love these. And the art. And the people in the frames that made the art. These were from early 2024 at Dram Tree Tavern for Port City Heavy that year

Here’s to doing more things that make me uncomfortable. Even if it’s just digging in the archive and sharing things I don’t think I ever shared before

Sunday night we celebrated the launch of How to Rise to Meet a Woman Like This.

Seeing this project move from something I wrote alone into something held by community meant more than I can say.

Thank you to everyone who came out, showed love, and helped make the room feel electric.

The first few days of the Kickstarter have already brought in nearly $1500 and we are just getting started.

If you want to be part of bringing this book into the world, the campaign is live.

Had such a blast rocking out at @portcityrockjam this weekend! ❤️ So proud of our local community for coming together to support each other and raise money for two amazing local charities — @playitforward_wilmington and Port City River Watch.

For my live painting, I chose to paint @ozzyosbourne as a bat playing the Cape Fear River 🦇🎸. I’m always inspired by how classic rock has shaped our local music scene, it’s an honor to be part of the journey as the scene continues to grow.

This piece came to life over the course of just 3 hours inspired by the energy of my friends @the_keith_allen_circus , @thekindthieves , and @thehatchbrothersofficial and is now dm for details.
