Two worlds. One passion for the sea.

IMMERSION - Chapter V: Io, Comandante del Tempo.

Step onto the bridge, look out across the endless sea, and discover another fascinating chapter of Panerai’s history.

This time, it’s all about sailing - from timeless maritime heritage to cutting-edge racing technology.

First, a remarkable piece of history: a Mare Nostrum prototype from the 1940s/50s, powered by an Angelus 215 movement, representing Panerai’s earliest venture into chronographs.

Then, Eilean - the beautiful classic yacht built in 1936 and lovingly restored by Panerai.

Her lifebuoy and nautical details set the scene, alongside the original Bronzo, the Radiomir Eilean Experience Edition, and the first Luminor Regatta - worn by Eilean’s skippers, Andy and Stefano.

Seeing these pieces brought back wonderful memories of my own time aboard Eilean.

And then, a complete change of pace.

Luna Rossa.

From traditional craftsmanship and classic wooden yachts to carbon fibre, racing helmets and state-of-the-art sailing technology.

The Submersible Luna Rossa Experience Edition in Carbotech perfectly captures this world of innovation, precision and performance.

Two very different approaches to sailing. One celebrating heritage and tradition, the other pushing the limits of technology and speed.

Yet both share the same fascination with the sea.

Classic yachting meets high-tech racing.

Next and final chapter: Back to where it all began - Firenze

Yesterday, I paid a visit to the Oslo boutique.
The boutique is operated by @urmakerbjerke a major authorized dealer.

In addition to a warm welcome, I was treated to macarons and coffee. I wanted to check out a leather strap with the „Pam Click“ system, and I did indeed find a dark brown one.

The new 42mm Luminor models—especially the DLC version—are a real success; they are sure to be well-received.

What a weekend in Geneva!

From a fascinating visit to the Panerai Manufacture in Neuchâtel to countless wristshots around Geneva, a wonderful Friday evening hosted by Panerai, and Saturday’s P-Day dinner.

So many extraordinary watches, interesting conversations, familiar faces and new encounters - and plenty of moments worth remembering.

What makes these gatherings special is not just our passion for Panerai, but the opportunity to share it with people who understand exactly what makes these watches so fascinating.

A big thank you to Panerai for the wonderful hospitality, to the P-Day organizers @swissristi @dominiquewinter68 for putting together such a great event, and to everyone who made the weekend so memorable.

The watches bring us together. Sharing the passion makes it special. ❤️
