Catch up on last week’s episode where Ron and X sat down to talk to @thrivewithdave founder of @dadsofsteele
Dave shares the deeply personal story behind why Dads of Steel was created, a journey born out of unimaginable grief after the loss of his daughter. Through his pain, Dave found purpose, choosing to turn heartbreak into strength, connection, and support for fathers who are carrying heavy loads of their own.

This is a raw, honest conversation about grief, resilience, fatherhood, and what it means to keep showing up when life breaks you open.

🎧 Listen now — and if this episode speaks to you, share it with a dad who might need it.

⚠️WARNING: LONG POST…PLEASE READ IN ENTIRETY⚠️

Dads of Steele was created by my long time friend Dave Steele. He suffered a loss and through helping other dads in need found his strength & courage to push forward. DOS recognizes how important mental, physical, emotional, & financial help is for dads in need. We encourage all of you to take a minute and spend some time on www.dadsofsteele.org along with their social accounts for more information and their mission statement.

With all of that said- we are so excited to announce that we are partnering up for the month of June in honor of all the dads out there! What does this mean? Well for starters, The Muffuletta Sandwich is hitting our menu June 4th. A portion of proceeds from every sale of this sandwich will be donated to the cause. We will also have a special box in The Shop that you can donate to.
We are putting together prizes to be raffled off weekly!

How can you help?? Pay attention to our Facebook/Instagram accounts for more info and share, share, share!! We have so much more info coming but wanted to give everyone a heads up!

If you are business and would like to help-please reach out to Paul and/or Dana!!

Let’s make this great!! Our “guys” deserve all the best!

Long time friend of Pauly’s stopped in The Shop this weekend and graced our dining room with his presence and generosity. He spent time with our customers talking & laughing and even sent a round of desserts to every person there! Dave is founder of Dads Of Steele and if you haven’t followed this amazing nonprofit community then we suggest you look ‘em up, read, give them a like, maybe even reach out if you have a story to share. #dadsofsteele focuses on Dads being present in their kids lives by being committed, connected, and courageous.

This morning's meeting was about PERSPECTIVE and BALANCE. Great talk as always. A few takeaways from the men and nuggets of wisdom from @robertgosens:
-It is all about balance, every day is impossible, but take it day by day and don't get overwhelmed.
-Life is in control, do your best with what is presented to you.
-There will be a tomorrow for your list of responsibilities, prioritize and protect your peace.

We are here if you need us. We would love to have you join us brother.

We can't make them all understand our grief the same way, but they play a very important role in how we navigate this new normal.

However you choose to celebrate this holiday season is ok. Everyone grieves differently, so whatever you need to do, or not do, in order to make it through these times is fine.

In the words of Robert, one of our support group members: "You have the control. Do what you need to and be ok with that. Do what is best for you."

If you or a Dad you know of needs a group of Dads to talk to, we meet every Sunday morning. DM us for details.
