Stepped out of my comfort zone last weekend to play goalkeeper for the Bear FC vs. @feileacainfathers from Ireland match supporting the @teamcharlimae Foundation. 💜

Proud of @pinguthegaffer for turning his passion into purpose and building a nonprofit that makes a difference. Grateful to be part of something bigger than the game. ⚽️ #fathers #soccer #europeanfootball #futbol #dads taken in Chicago Fire Pitch by @thrivewithdave

Motivation Monday:

Yesterday I crossed the finish line of my very 1st Sprint Triathlon in Chicago! 💪 At 43, I set a goal to challenge myself and push beyond my comfort zone.

The results:
🏁 Top 50% overall (1165 / 2357)
♂️ Top 50% among men (749 / 1306)
✨ Top 40% of first timers (207 / 569)

This experience reminded me that it’s never too late to take on something new, set a bold goal, and put in the consistent work to get there.
Whether in business, fitness, or life, progress comes from showing up, doing the work, and trusting the process.

In 2015, my wife and I lost our first daughter, Aubrey Violet. The grieving process was tough, but health and wellness became my anchor. Years later, I created Dads of Steele to honor Aubrey and highlight the importance of dads being present. At 42, I’m thriving, and this year, I’m committed to sharing health and wellness tips that have helped me feel alive. My goal is to inspire others to live their best life.
