To a Goal reached eventually, it’s not that you weren’t important it’s just life got in the way. Forgive my Tardiness. This pictures depicted above this caption are from One of my first shoots in Cape Town, after I bought my Sony a73. I bet on myself and made the intentonal leap towards my dreams and purchased my Camera. I bet on my friends to help make it happen and damn did they show up?! I’m truly grateful that they betted on me too and Granted me the permission to be seen. To be seen❤️ I’m only at the precipice of what is to come. As a student of the University of Life. I’m proud to say that today and i mean as of, this moment in time ,as you read this. I’m a professional photographer. Let that sink it Context : As someone who graduated with his Bachelors from the Jozi Campus (self-moderated). Jozi Campus stands as an independent institution. I learned via correspondence and i was tested daily and was required to pass daily. Honestly I’d say, one of the best institutions in the world. I’d argue with the best of them for this one. Even tho all I know is South Africa lol. Then shortly after that, Transferred to the Good Hope Campus, also standing as an independent institution. Man was i in for a culture shock of note. But had to trust God had sent me here for a reason. There must be something here for me. A Self-confronting experience. filled with so much loss, be it loss of loved ones, loss of resources and loss of self. I had to trust that God knows what he’s doing. Through all that,What this school has taught me is to bet on Myself. And now I sit here today and Know. I can say i’m giving myself Honours. The Honour of Believing i will build The Blvr and take the brand to the world. It took me almost 6 years. Moer 🤣🤣. Looking forward to working with you all. And with that said i’ve enrolled into my masters. See you in 10 years. Let’s see where God is steering this Ship. I’d like to express my humblest gratitude to everyone who has betted on me and has allowed me to exist as myself. Apologies for always not replying to the comments. Always alot going on in my head. Love you all

Dear People of the Blue Table, If anyone ever asks, “what do you bring to the table?” - let us bake in the surety that you bring a curiosity and openness that makes your presence more than just a reservation. We are charged by your belief in our tiny world building dreams - it’s this energy that fuels our passion and creativity. As this was only our second feast, see us as toddlers, thank you for holding us, as community and spending your coins - while we naively continue to seek the flavors and narratives that will later define us. Your support is the foundation upon which we build a confidence to be free to play, eager to experiment and excited to share the feast. We love to feed you & theres always space for you, in our tiny shared worlds. Siyabonga, The Blue Table Team 💙 📸 @buyelwa
