Coffee with Jesus ☕️📖

True wisdom comes from trusting in the Lord, not our own understanding.🫱🏼‍🫲🏽

“He who trusts in his own heart is a fool, But whoever walks wisely will be delivered.” - Proverbs 28:26 NKJV

Break the flesh 2.0 🤝🙏🏼

I stand here today speaking on obedience when I drowned in disobedience, I speak on forgiveness when I was full of unforgiveness, I speak on love when all I did was lust, but I stand here today a free man, no longer a slave to this flesh nor world but a son of Christ 🤍

I give all glory and Honor to god, because without him there is no me, if I have everything but not him = I have nothing
but if I have him and nothing = I have everything 🤍

Sometimes God’s delay can feel like God’s denial, but John 11 reminds us that Jesus is still working even when we can’t see it. Lazarus had been in the tomb for four days, but what looked finished was never beyond the power of Jesus. ✝️

“Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.’” - John 11:25 NKJV

Whatever feels delayed, dead or impossible, keep believing. Jesus still has the final word. 🙏🏽

Counting it all joy.

Joy in rediscovering my style, while learning that motherhood has reshaped me in the most beautiful ways.

Joy in tiny hands wrapped around mine, and tiny toes that somehow make the world stand still.

Joy in the simplicity of sunshine on our skin and sand between our toes.

Joy in the middle of sleepless nights, cluster feeds, reflux, and days that blur together.

Joy in knowing this season is both exhausting and impossibly fleeting.

Joy in the ordinary miracles; the sleepy cuddles, the milk-drunk smiles.

Joy while my body heals and I work hard to built back my strength; my heart also stretches.

Joy that sits beside grief for what was — but also deep gratitude for the life that is.

Motherhood has been sanctifying. In being ever humbled by my weaknesses; I’m also reminded daily that joy isn’t the absence of hardship, it’s learning to stumble along within it.

If today feels somewhat heavy, I encourage you to count it all as joy. Not because every moment feels joyful, but because every moment is held by a faithful God who is making something beautiful in the ordinary, the hard, the messy, the sleepless, and the sacred.

And what a gift it is to discover that joy and gratitude can coexist with tired eyes, healing bodies, and holy, ordinary days.
