So grateful to all who came out to celebrate A Stranger By Design last night at @springsteencenter with me and @tomtccunningham

Want to take a moment on the second slide to thank the AMAZING team who were so crucial to making this album happen. These recordings spanned 3 years as well as 3 continents, and I can’t appreciate enough all the work everyone put in to make it all come together.

Plenty more to come, and keep streaming!! Want a physical copy? All CDs are restocked at JakeThistle.com/merch!

I wrote “Let My Love” with Doug Hoekstra - for my kids. ❤️

There’s a part of me that wants to protect them from every hard thing.

But I can’t.

And that isn’t really my job anyway.

Loving them also means trusting them to struggle, take risks, get hurt, get back up, and discover how strong they are.

This one makes me want to dance AND cry. 🤗

“Let My Love” is from my new EP, The Sweetness Is Now, out THIS FRIDAY, September 25.

And we’ll be playing it live at the Avalon on October 3. ❤️

Hurry up and watch this before Charlie makes me take it down!! It takes a lot to get him to do interpretive dance!!! It must have been because he was loving what producer (and birthday boy!) @itschriscampbell was doing!
On this album, as with all our albums, Charlie, Scott and I each brought sings to the table, and this one was one of Scott’s. It’s so beautiful and I can’t wait until we are able to share it! ♥️Sarah
