Ever wonder what really happens before the pretty pictures?
Instead of the polished “after,” I’m sharing the process walkthroughs, design questions, and conversations with the team that make it all possible. Interior design is so much more than pretty pictures—it’s the details, decisions, and progress along the way.

It was a whirlwind 48 hours in Chicago, but with a wealth of design architecture and inspiration, I could not help myself. I had to explore the Windy City and she did not disappoint..

I often talk about creating “Thymeless Soulful Interiors with a Purpose. This homebodies this design mantra. I was invited into a friends home where each piece is a lovely reflection of the beautiful soul who lives there.
‌
Thank you Caroline for inviting me in and allowing me to share this spirit filled wonder.

One of my favorite excursions when I attend KBIS is a trip to the New American Home. Each year a new build home is open to explore, showcasing the latest in design and innovation in home building.
⠀
I was a guest of Signature Kitchen Suite who was a contributing partner supplying the appliances for the kitchen, laundry and pantries.
⠀
I loved the unique design and details of the kitchen and the hood.
⠀
Stay tuned for my post featuring rooms and behind the scenes peeks from the special celebration I attended.

Natural materials are all in vogue. Hubbardton Forge knows how to strike a pose with this stunning slate and metal fixture. Who doesn’t like the real thing? #ethoseyeondesign #hpmkt2022 #ethosdesigncollective

Is there anything prettier than a @houseofrohl porcelain farmhouse sink looking out over a gorgeous view while dinner is cooking in a @boschhomeus oven🪴? We are so fortunate to have wonderful clients that trust us like these clients did. Thank you. We are grateful. #DesignedBySharonLSherman
