Lately I’ve realised how much energy I was giving to things I couldn’t control.

Learning to stop overthinking, let things be, and put that energy back into myself, my goals and the amazing people around me.

Still figuring it out, but slowly learning to let go and keep moving forward.

I used to think the grass was greener somewhere else.
Turns out, it just needed to be watered in the right places.

Grateful for the friends who show up, support me and inspire me to be better, do better and keep pushing forward. The people around you really do shape who you become.

70.3 Ironman

I bloody did that!

1.9km of ocean swimming
90km on the bike
21.1km of running
All done in 6 hours and 5mins

That’s 6 hours of nonstop movement.

Honestly it’s still all so surreal to me, to think that I have spent months training for this moment. I was aiming for sub 6hrs but honestly 6:05 is pretty damn near close.

The biggest thank you to my support crew who came out to cheer me on this race, you guys have no idea how much that support pushed me through the toughest times. To my coach @nicholasrobertspt who has never coached a triathlon before let alone an Ironman, yet still managed to coach me to it.

Dare I say, this is only just the beginning…

What a week... Being around some amazing people, supporting mates chasing big goals and just enjoying things again.

A little reminder that your mates wins don’t take anything away from your own. There’s always room to celebrate each other, back your people and be genuinely stoked to see the people around you doing well. Cheer them on, be proud of them and enjoy the wins together.

Slowly finding my rhythm again, getting back into a good headspace and just feeling like myself a bit more. Feels good to feel good again.
