These boys ain’t climbing enough trees anymore — and it shows. 😂

Build some callouses. Get off the fancy treehouses. Sometimes you’ve got to dig in, grip something, and fight through it.

We put some numbers on the board today too with the 30 lb DB Jump, Vertical Jump, and Trap Bar Deadlift leaderboards. Jett set the pace across the board, but there was plenty of competition behind him and some good battles throughout the group.

Then Beau and Liam took it personally on the anti-rotation ISO holds. They got a little mad, dug in, and battled it out because neither one wanted to be the first to give in.

That’s what we want.

Compete. Get stronger. Build some callouses, boys.

⚡ TODAY’S FLORIDA SPEED LEADERBOARDS ⚡️

Clean Sweep 🧹 for Jett Crawford!

Another strong day of competition with the young guys — acceleration, max velocity, and upper-body strength all on the board.

🚨 PR ALERTS
🔥 Jett Crawford — new 4-Board Press PR: 205 lb
⚡ BB — new 20/10 Fly PR, continuing to push that max-velocity ceiling.

Jett the top spot today in all four categories:
• 5/10 Fly — 15.28 mph
• 20/10 Fly — 18.34 mph
• Bench Press — 155 lb
• 4-Board Press — 205 lb

Keep stacking quality reps. Keep chasing the guy in front of you.

Speed. Strength. Competition.

⚡ FLORIDA SPEED | 8/20 LEADERBOARDS ⚡

Big morning for the Performance Group.

A lot of reactive depth drop work and overcoming isometrics this morning — teaching these young athletes to absorb force, create tension, and put force into the ground FAST.

Then we let the lasers tell the story. ⚡

🏁 5/10 Fly — Acceleration
🚀 20/10 Fly — Max Velocity
💥 25lb DB Jump
⬆️ Vertical Jump

PRs falling across the board and the numbers continue to move in the right direction.

We’re not chasing fatigue. We’re building faster, stronger, more explosive athletes.

Speed is the tide that lifts all boats.

8/13/26 FLORIDA SPEED PERFORMANCE GROUP 🐇⚡

Speed. Deceleration. Change of direction. Jump. Loaded jump.

We’re not just training kids to get tired. We’re training qualities, measuring them, and competing.

Jett Crawford swept the top spot in the 20/10 Fly, Stop at 18, and 180° Return, while tying Huck Alvarez at 21.4” for the best vertical of the day.

And we had PRs:

⚡ Kaleb Dyal — 15.8” Vertical PR
⚡ BB Clements — 12.2” 20 lb DB Jump PR

Every number gives us information. Where are you fast? Where can you produce force? Can you put on the brakes? Can you redirect it? Can you express power with and without load?

We test it because what gets measured gets trained.

High intent. Low junk volume. Compete every day.

FAST IS FUN.

“BIG SWOLE” HAS ARRIVED. 🐇💪⚡

Jett Crawford showed up to Florida Speed and made his presence known.

At just 140 lbs body weight, Jett hit a 590 × 3 Box Belt Squat — that’s 4.21× his body weight on the bar. The rep still needs some cleaning up: we need to get him to proper box depth and have him settle on the box a little longer before driving back up.

That coaching point matters. A controlled pause on the box helps dissipate elastic energy and reduce the contribution of the stretch-shortening cycle, creating a clearer separation between the eccentric and concentric phases. The goal isn’t to completely eliminate the stretch reflex—it’s to minimize its contribution and force Jett to produce more concentric force from the box.

Then we introduced the Sumo Deadlift for the first time ever.

275 lbs on Day 1.
At 140 lbs, that’s 1.96× body weight on a movement he had never attempted before.

And the strength numbers were only part of the introduction. Jett also walked in and took the top spot on both speed boards:

⚡ 20/10 Fly — 1.079 | 18.96 MPH
⚡ 5/10 Fly — 1.315 | 15.5 MPH
💥 Broad Jump — 7’8”

Welcome to Florida Speed, Jett “Big Swole” Crawford.

Now we clean up the technique, build the movement patterns, and see where that horsepower can go.

Also we would like to welcome Cooper Gemelli to the MS Performance Group.

SPEED BUILDS GREATNESS.
