Thankful for this man right here. It has been a week, that’s for sure. Everyday this week has just been hard, I’m blessed to be able to come home to him with open arms that I can just sink into and our wonderful kids who constantly encourage me.
I’m thankful for our walks (especially with the cool air of the night) a time that we have set aside to decompress from the day, spend time together, talk about our day, the kids, goals, visions, you name it.

Where are my Book Nerd friends at?!! 🤓📚

THIS, THIS Book right here, came highly recommended by one of influencers and let me just say it was so, so good!

If you like a suspense/thriller/mystery genre than this is for you! I finished it in two days time. I was literally writing down clues on sticky notes, pacing around the house while reading it, talking out loud in the car while I had it on Audible.
That good! If this sounds like your style, do yourself a favor and go get it!

So PROUD of our Cooper!

A little backstory as this season has looked so different for our family and we have just kept walking forward and saying “You Lead God.”

Cooper and Charlotte are both Homeschooled this year and I already bragged on Char, but ya’ll Cooper is killing it! He actually loves school and has set mini and big goals for himself this school year. He is at the gym three days a week from 6:30am -8:00am with an amazing Coach who believes in him and his friends. Not only in the gym, in their sports but their academics as well. He challenges and encourages these boy. We are so thankful for him and his investment.

Cooper is active in his youth and found a place where he is accepted, loved, chosen and poured into. Constantly being challenged in his daily walk with the Lord and watching him do his own quiet time and leading his other friends to youth has truly blessed our hearts.

And as far as his FLVS, he is beating all the odds that were stacked against him! One thing about Cooper is, if you tell him “he can’t or won’t amount too” he’s going to prove you wrong!
As parents, we have taken a step back, listen intentionally to our kids and meeting them where they need. This journey wasn’t what we envisioned, but that’s just the thing, God knew and His plans are always better than our own.

Trusting Him to lead, guide and direct our family in this season has been so beautiful!
Peace that passes all understanding.
Philippians 4:7

It was MOVE UP Sunday in CC Kids at Cross Church! This day is always such a bittersweet sweet day as we watch these kids grow and move up with the new school year approaching.

Some, this was my last Kids Camp with and I have watched them grow since they were brought home from the hospital and all throughout their journey through CCKids. Watching the Lord work inside each of their life’s, hearing how their Faith has grown them through each season of their life has truly been a blessing! It’s hard to let go as some move up to Youth, and seeing my very own move up to 5th and knowing this will be my last year teaching her is emotional but also I am filled with so much joy as I know the Lord isn’t done yet!

Excited for the new faces that walked in my classroom today and seeing their excitement as they advance through CCKIDS, meeting new friends and we know the Lord has great things in store for CCKids at Cross Church.

The Best is yet to come! 🙌🏻🎉
