One of the best parts of this whole writing journey hasn’t been algorithms, follower counts, or aesthetics.

It’s been the people.

Some of these women have celebrated every tiny milestone with me. Some have brainstormed stories, left comments that changed my entire day, co-hosted events with me, narrated my characters, or simply reminded me that creating doesn’t have to be lonely.

Each one brings something completely different to this little corner of the internet, and I’m endlessly grateful our paths crossed.

To end this season and this beautiful month of history and community, I wanted to intentionally spotlight Black women authors whose work I’ve genuinely loved reading and/or engaging with across genres and publishing paths.

All are storytellers who deserve more visibility, more support, and more celebration!

This will be a seasonal practice for me. A way to keep amplifying the voices shaping my shelves and my creativity.

There’s no scarcity in community. There’s room for all of us 🖤
