✨ I’ve got some new friends joining my rollercoaster of a journey, so figured it was time for a Meet the Author refresh!

✨ hey y’all, I’m Tiffany and I plan on being someone’s favorite author someday (hopefully soon!)

✨ my debut new adult romantasy novel, TO HATCH A STORM, is the first in a planned trilogy! It’s a story that came together when I finally put myself and my dreams first, and I can’t wait to share more as we move into editing!

✨ my journey into Bookstagram has been a bit daunting, so I also wanted to give a quick shout out to some folks who’ve encouraged and supported me in just the short time I’ve been posting 🥰🥹 there’s soooo may more folks that I plan to shoutout in future posts soon, truly I appreciate you ALL!

✨ I’m biased and think my story, TO HATCH A STORM, is amazing, but I also know it may not be everyone’s cup of tea. Let’s explore why:

✨ daggers are cool, but have we forgotten how badass Gandalf was with his staff?! Not I, and not my FMC

✨ yup, there’s 🌶️ 🌶️🌶️ scenes that I heavily enjoyed writing 🤭 but I made sure they were intentional and well deserved, making them that much hotter imo

✨ my books’ dragons are different - in fact, only 3 in the world breathe fire. The rest… you’ll have to wait and see

✨ if you like a magic system rooted in blood, rules, and a deity calling the shots (sometimes) then you’ll love the Divine

✨ hate to disappoint, but you won’t find any shadow daddies here. However, you may find a brooding, sensitive redheaded archer (aka my book bf)

✨ never shying away from this last one y’all. They don’t call it black girl magic for nothing 😌

✨ So - is this cup of tea to your liking? 🤭

Ever have those day where you think to yourself “am I really a writer?” 🤔 and then the thoughts grow more and more negative?

That’s probably Imposter Irene, and she’s got a way of making me feel disconnected from my identity as a writer. Her pecking doesn’t help when life keeps moving and she tries to keep me stuck.

But friends, you can get unstuck if you come across her. It may not be easy, and it’ll require time and patience with yourself, but it’s possible ☺️ celebrate the small wins, remember that writing breaks can be when the best ideas hit, and put care for yourself first. She’ll back off pretty quickly once she sees you’re unstoppable 💕

Something new is brewing friends! 🧙🏾✨🖤

Most of y’all know I’ve been having the hardest time getting reinvested in Project Mermaid 😩 I finally had to admit to myself that the project just isn’t speaking to me right now as much as I LOVE IT!

But while it’s going on a mini vaca, I’m reviving a project that has stayed close to my heart for almost a decade 🥰 anyone who loves witches/wizards, monsters/demons, a steamy slightly twisted romance, familiars, found family, and a school of magic will wanna enroll so they don’t miss any updates! 🖤🔮

Adulting is hard 😅 Idk about you, but sometimes when life gets up to no good, social media (among other things) feels so much harder to engage with. But I’m grateful for friends and loved ones who remind me that no matter what, I’m not alone 💕

Thankfully, my little hiatus was spent in great spirits! ✨ I basically did a bunch of things that filled my cup and got me out of my shell! 🐚💕

Wanna have some fun, friends? 🤭 here’s a chance to weigh in on some names I’m considering for one of the characters in PROJECT MERMAID!

As a lover of themes and hidden meanings, I’m super super intentional when picking names for my characters. Occasionally I run into the problem of narrowing down the ✨perfect✨ name, so I figured it’d be fun to see what future readers think!

Did you miss me? 🤭 cuz I missed y’all! Let’s just say I’m glad it’s finally June! All the astrologers and horoscopes have been saying it’s gonna be a great month for me, and I’m MORE than ready! ✨

Don’t mind the aesthetic change yet again 😂 instead, get a little glimpse into how I’m prepping for my new book! Tentatively called Project Mermaid (for now), this WIP is going to be wildly different than TO HATCH A STORM.

✨ I’ve got one book I’m querying and another I’ve yet to start drafting. How on earth could I be struggling with writing right now?

✨ well friends, because I spend an unnecessary amount of time in my own head, and that tends to bite me in the rear 😅 if I’m not spending hours fantasizing about the worlds in my head, then I’m most definitely creating mood boards and convincing myself I can’t start drafting until they’re done lol
