Fame has gone to my head. And frankly, I don’t think anyone is surprised.

My new book, A Measure of Britain, has made it into the pages of Metro, page 4 to be precise, complete with its very own advert, which is a pretty surreal moment.

This is entirely thanks to the incredibly supportive team @metro.co.uk @metronewspaper who have gone above and beyond to support me and A Measure of Britain. @claiester @jomazenko @courtneypochin and of course, @tweetiegentile, you are honestly the best team and the loveliest people.

A Measure of Britain is a love letter to Britain, told through the cocktails we love, and it’s out on 5th November, published by @littlebrownbookgroup_uk - another fantastic team I get to work with.

New cover design and illustration for Storm Bringer by @tigwallace ⚡

It was such a pleasure working with Tig on this, and a real honour to be trusted with his own book! This is the first YA cover I’ve ever worked on. A good challenge to push myself further into the illustration and explore some of the nuances of the YA market along with Tig’s insights into what’s working in the US market.

This cover is for the North American market, making it the second cover for the book, which is already out in the UK with an awesome cover by @micaelaalcainodesign

What a fantastic book launch for a wonderful author and a stunning book! I had such a brilliant evening celebrating Lumi and the Wolf by @lottiesaahko - if you know Lottie at all, the gorgeous attention to detail at this celebration will not surprise you - themed food, drinks and decorations, a Lumi photo booth, adorable pin badges, Lottie’s lovely videos and research, plenty of books and a room packed full of enthusiasm.

Brilliant to see so many of the 2026 debut crew, fantastic to meet and catch up with so many lovely bookish people and huge congratulations to Lottie on this gorgeous book, her English language debut. There’s already a glowing review on my grid, but this really is a very special book - definitely one to look out for if you love nature!
