🌪️🌩️STORM BRINGER is out everywhere as of TODAY! 🌩️🌪️ Swipe for more about the world, the characters and what to expect 👉

Getting to be a debut twice in a year is a lot of fun. Thank you to everyone who has read, shared, pre-ordered or just put up with me talking about tornados for the last year 😄

If you read any edition of STORM BRINGER, I’d be grateful for an honest review on Amazon and Goodreads - the best gift you can give a book on launch day.

⚡️Find your destiny in the eye of the storm! ⚡️

TL;DR - imagine an insane road trip through a warring kingdom besieged by big magical tornados

The story kicks off with the MC crossing from a place where magic is outlawed to a place where it’s ingrained into life - and where he was born

The trio ❤️💙🖤

Thank you to the lovely people who have quoted!

I have the best news! I’ve hoped since I was a kid that I’d one day write a book and see it published. Today, I finally get to say that I’m an author as well as an editor! I can’t say a big enough thank you to my amazing agent @agentmaddybelton for her support, guidance and enthusiasm from day one; or to Barry, Rachel, @shaluvallepur and the team at @chickenhousebooks - I couldn’t think of a better home for Stormbringer and I’m very grateful for their belief in this book. Writing can be a pretty solitary experience, and a real juggle in amongst a day job, so huge thanks to my friends and family for putting up with me when I’ve disappeared into writing/editing mode, and for all your support. Roll on 2026 – may you find your destiny in the eye of the storm! 🏃🏃‍♀️🏃🌪️🌩️🧨🔥🌊💥💣✨⚡️ by @tigwallace

New cover design and illustration for Storm Bringer by @tigwallace ⚡

It was such a pleasure working with Tig on this, and a real honour to be trusted with his own book! This is the first YA cover I’ve ever worked on. A good challenge to push myself further into the illustration and explore some of the nuances of the YA market along with Tig’s insights into what’s working in the US market.

This cover is for the North American market, making it the second cover for the book, which is already out in the UK with an awesome cover by @micaelaalcainodesign by @tigwallace

It’s almost time - STORM BRINGER is out in North America next week, on Tuesday 13! I’m over the moon to get it into the hands of more readers and it’s available to pre-order in paperback and ebook at the link in my bio 🖤

To my American and Canadian friends, any support greatly appreciated - a recommendation, a share, a review all go a long way.

I’m also lucky enough that my book gets a SECOND beautiful cover, and this time from the brilliant @benpriordesign. Isn’t it gorgeous?

Colossal twisters. A feuding magical kingdom. Three teenagers thrown together in the storm chase of a lifetime. STORM BRINGER is YA fantasy, the first in a trilogy: think SHADOW AND BONE meets THE MAZE RUNNER crossed with TWISTERS.

Amelio’s world is divided by the Fault, a canyon separating him from Nimira, the storm-ravaged kingdom where magic is used freely.

When Amelio’s storm chaser mother goes missing, he is forced across the Fault, joining a mission to locate the source of a leviathan storm. As magic stirs within him, Amelio also has to contend with Paige, a wildcard with a thirst for chaos, and Vintane, a criminal with an agenda of his own.

The storm chase of a lifetime is underway and Amelio must unite warring provinces, confront his feelings for Paige and Vintane, and face his own destiny - before the most powerful storm ever seen destroys them all . . .

Can’t wait to see it out there soon!

I’ve had my head down in every free moment recently and have finally finished the first draft of [secret title], the sequel to STORM BRINGER. Off to my editor it goes! Much as I love it, I’m excited to see the back of it for a while and get some evenings and weekends back. It also gives me time to think about whether I can really do that with the ending!🤪 by @tigwallace
