Art has a way of turning experiences into something lasting. ✨

Through an international artist residency in Portugal in partnership with the Atlanta BeltLine, artist Marryam Moma found inspiration for The Gift, a work reflecting both what the experience gave to her and what she gives back through her art.

Rooted in themes of femininity, joy and self-expression, her work celebrates the female form and the beauty of women experiencing happiness and freedom.

As displayed at the Atlanta Art Fair, The Gift is a reminder of how cultural exchange can inspire creativity that reaches far beyond borders.

Had a beautiful time stopping by the @atlartfair on Friday w/ @amanda.mochi. There was so much incredible art and it was so great seeing old friends and meeting new ones.

We need to make sure art and local artists are supported, so they can keep bringing light and beauty into this crazy world.

The Atlanta Art Fair finishes at 6p today... stop by if you can!

Art can be a mirror, but it can also be a guide.

For Charity Hamidullah, empowerment and self-reflection sit at the heart of her work, exploring not only who we are, but who we’re becoming.

In this Artist Talkback, she reflects on a piece inspired by watching her friend’s son grow into his own personhood and the role parents and community play in helping young people navigate that journey.

It’s a reminder that becoming yourself doesn’t happen in isolation. The people who pour into us help shape what’s possible.

The Day 1 VIP event of the @atlartfair with @tila_studios easily goes down as one of my all time favorite events in art to date thus far. Situated at booth A15 inside @prattpullmandistrict is @charitymadeit and @marryammomaart exhibit hosted by the Atlanta Beltline x Artworks. This pairs recent residency in Portugal birthed the artworks that are found exclusively here through October 4th. You can read all about it in the @atlantabeltline blog titled Forging New Forms: Atlanta Artist Returns from Transformative Porto Residency. I absolutely fell in love with “I Like The Way You Move” and “I Didn’t Know You Could Make Me Feel Like This” by Charity both metal sculptures created during the Portugal visit.

Another piece to the story is @iambritsade she brings such a positive impact to this awesome experience. Her tenacity in curation and the ability to find the perfect piece gives this tiny space life! Rounding off this dynamic group is @tiffany_latrice1 the brainchild of Tila Studios-Atlanta and @bylovejones her mastermind. Come check us out this weekend and procure your piece in this incredible story. See you Saturday and Sunday!

DUALITY | The Atlanta Art Fair, Booth A15
I'm excited to share this new body of work at The Atlanta Art Fair, presented alongside @charitymadeit at the @tila_studios booth.

Our curatorial theme is Duality, and for me it became a meditation on personhood and transformation: holding the child and the adult in me at once, letting play and discipline work side by side. That same tension lives in the work itself, as ideas I first built in paper and collage now stand in three dimensions.

Learning new materials opened a door I'm still walking through. I'm approaching this chapter with avid curiosity, eager to keep expanding my practice, and to build bigger and bolder.

Collectors and art lovers, come visit us at Booth A15. I'd love to walk you through the work.
🗓 Thursday, Oct 1: Opening Evening, 6–9pm
🗓 Friday & Saturday, Oct 2–3: 11am–7pm
🗓 Sunday, Oct 4: 11am–6pm
The real MVPs @vikkimmorrow @tila_studios @atlantabeltline @aw_artworks for making this journey possible.
