os últimos meses foram alguns dos mais difíceis e gratificantes da minha vida, tanto pessoal quanto profissionalmente.

começar um negócio do zero, tirar tudo do papel e ver as coisas começando a acontecer de verdade é um sonho. e definitivamente não seria possível sem toda a ajuda da nossa família e dos nossos amigos.

a reforma tem sido uma loucura à parte 😂 é muita decisão, atraso, mudança de plano, problema que aparece do nada… mas também é muito especial ver o espaço mudando aos poucos e começando a ter a cara da BOSSA.

a @bossapdx veio da saudade, mas também da vontade de criar um espaço onde a nossa cultura seja valorizada, celebrada e contada por nós.

ainda tem muita coisa pra fazer, mas cada vez parece mais real 🇧🇷✨

We recently traveled to Brasil, to visit @fazendadutras and spend time with the family behind the coffee we are proud to share through Bossa.

We are incredibly grateful to @victoriadutra, a fourth-generation member of the Dutra family, for taking the time to share her knowledge, her family’s story, and the care and intention behind the farm.

Visiting the farm was such an important part of our journey. We wanted to learn directly from the people growing our coffee, understand every step of the process, and build a relationship rooted in trust, shared values, and a love for Brazilian coffee.

Every bag of Carinho and Aurora carries a piece of this story, from the mountains of Matas de Minas to your cup. Available in our website 💛🇧🇷

🎈30 marks the official launch of my rebrand - a new chapter shaped by everything I’ve learned, built, & become over the last decade.⚡️

I was just a kid at Westview High School with a camera, circling the 20 senior portraits I shot in my yearbook.

In my early 20s, I spent every Sunday exploring the PNW with no plan except to go play outside with my camera. That simple phrase shaped my creative journey & made me fall in love with photography long before it ever paid my bills.

My mid‑20s brought weddings, events, and portraits.

My late 20s opened the door to corporate & sports world, and that’s where everything clicked. Seeing sports from behind the scenes showed me the emotion, community, and humanity that live beyond the game. It reminded me why I started.

This rebrand isn’t about becoming someone new.

It’s about honoring the multidimensional photographer I’ve grown into. Someone who captures nature, people, sports, community... storytelling all at once.

I’ve also realized how underrepresented women of color are in sports photography. That truth fuels me. I’m committed to empowering women in spaces where we’ve often felt unseen and to creating pathways for those coming next.

A whirlwind few days in CDMX! The last time I was in Mexico was almost exactly 10 years ago, and at a big turning point in my life. I’d just been accepted at Concordia in Montreal, and had decided to move there the following fall. I’d also just decided to start playing hockey. I was on the precipice of everything, nearly 21 and ready for “real life” to start. A lot is different for me now, but this country is just as beautiful.

Our mission is simple: to bring the warmth, rhythm, and flavors of Brasil to Portland, and to create a space where everyone feels welcome.

We’re building more than a Brazilian café & bar.
We’re building a community space rooted in Brazilian culture and Portland creativity.
