We recently traveled to Brasil, to visit @fazendadutras and spend time with the family behind the coffee we are proud to share through Bossa.

We are incredibly grateful to @victoriadutra, a fourth-generation member of the Dutra family, for taking the time to share her knowledge, her family’s story, and the care and intention behind the farm.

Visiting the farm was such an important part of our journey. We wanted to learn directly from the people growing our coffee, understand every step of the process, and build a relationship rooted in trust, shared values, and a love for Brazilian coffee.

Every bag of Carinho and Aurora carries a piece of this story, from the mountains of Matas de Minas to your cup. Available in our website 💛🇧🇷

Bossa was born from late-night conversations, homesickness, a deep love for coffee, and the belief that culture is meant to be shared.

Our mission is simple: to bring the warmth, rhythm, and flavors of Brasil to Portland, and to create a space where everyone feels welcome.

We’re building more than a Brazilian café & bar.
We’re building a community space rooted in Brazilian culture and Portland creativity.

We’re so grateful for all the support we have received so far and we are excited that things are moving forward on the café and bar!

From organic regenerative farms in Brasil to roasting locally with care, every detail matters. Taste it for yourself! Our coffee is available online and if you live in Portland we offer free delivery!

The time has finally arrived for my first photo dump… and she’s a big one. Wait, that doesn’t sound right 🤣

Here are some of my favorite memories from 2025. This year was huge for me. Emanuelle and I worked so hard to launch @bossapdx, ate and cooked an unreasonable amount of amazing food, and spent so much time with the friends and family who mean the world to us!

I haven’t been posting here as much because the past few years have been a bit of a rollercoaster. I’ve been working through some pretty intense anxiety. Thanks to my incredible wife, family, friends, an amazing therapist, and finally starting medication in September, things are turning around. I finally feel like myself again, which still feels kind of surreal to say.

Feeling grateful, emotional in a good way, and very excited for what’s ahead. I can’t wait for 2026. So many exciting things coming 💚 by @tilionfilms

The Oregon Coast is way too cinematic

I’m having so much fun diving back into grading in #davinciresolve if I’ve learned anything over the years about grading it’s that you need to not be afraid to push the image, rec709 isn’t grading. When you go for color separation and a pushed look some people won’t like it but that’s how cinema is, if you look at the color from pretty much every movie it’s pushed to serve the creative direction. Have fun and if you like it, print it.
