AT REST III - looking for a forever home. This work makes me excited. It is lushes and rotting all tied up in a bow. The sculpture would look amazing on an antique plant stand, as a centerpiece on a table or up on a mantle. Scroll for full, overhead, and detail photos.

Hand-beaded decayed beaded floral arrangement in an antique vase with a sad beaded mourning bow. Black onyx mourning beaded tears drip from the skeletonized flowers. The sculpture is in a forever state of decay - pure rotting perfection for all eternity. Small black beaded flowers fill around the stems (see top detail images). I adore the wide span of this floral arrangement. My absolute favorite from the series.

DM for pricing and more images/video.

*The beaded flowers and bow are not removable from the vase as they are permanently imbedded. Signed, titled and dated on bottom of the vase. Ships worldwide.

THE 13th MISSON - looking for a forever home.

This piece was inspired and dedicated to my grandfather, our flyboy. READ STORY BELOW.

My grandfather was born on April 13th. Fast forward to WWII where he became the tail gunner of a B17. These are his words:

“As a Tail Gunner on a B-17, I lost my first crew on 9/11/1944. For some reason unknown to me the Co-Pilot, Waist Gunner and Ball Turret Gunner and I were replaced that day. They encountered one hundred fighters over Merseburg. The Pilot and Co-Pilot were killed in their seats. Ball Turret Gunner was on his 35th mission - his last one. He had his foot caught in the gears outside of the turret. The Bombardier blew up with the plane. The other crewmembers bailed out. All of them became Prisoners of War. It was their 13th mission.”

He always said that the number 13 was his lucky number. I wouldn’t be here today, if it wasn’t.

If you have read this far and interested in the piece, please reach out to Arch Enemy Arts. The piece consists of hand-beaded flowers and bow, my grandfather’s antique horseshoe, industrial felt, antique button from my grandmother’s and antique frame. Any further details, DM me.

Final week to catch my AT REST show at @artyardcenter in Frenchtown. There are three pieces inside the peep hole galleries.

AVAILABLE. These are not miniatures. They are full size sculptures, hand-beaded bouquets in antique vases. Decaying beaded flowers inspired by skeletonization of leaves. Long hand-beaded sad bows. Each flower weeps black mourning tear beads. Two arrangements are upright standing sculptures. The third sculpture lays across a table or pedestal. DM me for details. The rooms (exhibiting boxes) are not included.

Beautiful death floral arrangement. Forever perfection. Forever grieving for those we have lost. In a sea of grief, we will find our way.

Amazing work & the hospitality is unparalleled. ☺️ Also got to go back to the @princetonuniversityartmuseum & the castle @mercerandfonthill and they were even better than I remembered. 🤩

A moment of appreciation for the absolutely *incredible* hand-beading in @timberchouse’s newest solo, LIKE A LEAF ON A BREEZE, YOU BLEW AWAY. Beadwork has always been one of Rebecca’s signature talents, and the floral arrangements across these 17 new pieces show just how intricate, varied, and ambitious that part of her practice has become.

As impressive as the beading is, it’s still just only one part of each finished piece, alongside antique tintypes, and her custom-made frames. The full installation is on view through September 27th, and definitely deserves to be appreciated in person. For those of you that can’t make it in for a visit, the full exhibition is available to view and shop online.

What an incredible opening night for my solo show, LIKE A LEAF ON A BREEZE, YOU BLEW AWAY @archenemyarts 🥀

The love from my friends and family was off the charts. People drove hours, flew across states, took the time out of their busy life schedules to come celebrate alongside of me Friday night. I was and still am completely floored.

Thank you @archenemyarts for the continued support and hanging my work so beautifully. I love being part of this art family. 🖤

📸: @primer_inc thanks for capturing the moment.

Interested in the work, please see the gallery’s website for availability. All work can be shipped worldwide. Interest-free plans available. 🥀
