Final week to catch my AT REST show at @artyardcenter in Frenchtown. There are three pieces inside the peep hole galleries.

AVAILABLE. These are not miniatures. They are full size sculptures, hand-beaded bouquets in antique vases. Decaying beaded flowers inspired by skeletonization of leaves. Long hand-beaded sad bows. Each flower weeps black mourning tear beads. Two arrangements are upright standing sculptures. The third sculpture lays across a table or pedestal. DM me for details. The rooms (exhibiting boxes) are not included.

A moment of appreciation for the absolutely *incredible* hand-beading in @timberchouse’s newest solo, LIKE A LEAF ON A BREEZE, YOU BLEW AWAY. Beadwork has always been one of Rebecca’s signature talents, and the floral arrangements across these 17 new pieces show just how intricate, varied, and ambitious that part of her practice has become.

As impressive as the beading is, it’s still just only one part of each finished piece, alongside antique tintypes, and her custom-made frames. The full installation is on view through September 27th, and definitely deserves to be appreciated in person. What an incredible opening night for my solo show, LIKE A LEAF ON A BREEZE, YOU BLEW AWAY @archenemyarts 🥀

The love from my friends and family was off the charts. People drove hours, flew across states, took the time out of their busy life schedules to come celebrate alongside of me Friday night. I was and still am completely floored.

Thank you @archenemyarts for the continued support and hanging my work so beautifully. I love being part of this art family. 🖤

🥀THE TIME HAS COME! 🥀 15 new pieces. Custom designed and cut frames. Three different designs. Hand-cut antique tintypes that lean forward in the heaviness of grief, revealing the emptiness of loss behind the portraits. The hand-beaded bouquets and weeping mourning bows cascade beneath. The decaying flower bouquets represent the time that has passed since we lost the ones we love most in this world. The skeletonization of the flowers represents the fragments of myself that I have lost along the way. Forever flowers, suspended in time. Although the antique tintypes were collected, the titles of the works are directly named after my ancestors dating back to the mid 1600s.

My new series is debuting tomorrow (September 3, 2026) in the PRES🥀LE drop via email. The OPENING reception (September 4, 2026) for my solo show titled, LIKE A LEAF ON A BREEZE, YOU BLEW AWAY, will be from 5:00 - 9:00 PM @archenemyarts 🖤 Interested in receiving the pres🥀le email, reach out to me in my DMs or the gallery. Only a few more days until we get to share @timberchouse’s incredible new series LIKE A LEAF ON A BREEZE, YOU BLEW AWAY. The opening reception will take place this First Friday September 4th from 5-9pm with Rebecca in attendance. There’s something so exciting about seeing @timberchouse take the materials and themes she’s known for and completely reimagining them. This new series feels like a serious level up and we cant wait for you to see it. Rebecca’s hand-beaded florals and vintage photographs are familiar territory, but the custom made frames and dimensional portraits take them somewhere completely new.

Yesterday was the photoshoot for my new series. There are 15 pieces ranging in sizes. Three different Victorian inspired custom designed / custom cut frames. I painted and gold leafed each frame. The image is an antique tintype that I hand-cut in order to have the portrait lean forward. The frame has a negative space of the portrait is cut into the frame exposing the wall. Hand-beaded, decaying floral arrangement with a weeping beaded bow.

Join artist Rebecca Reeves (@timberchouse) for an intimate Tiny Talk on her exhibition At Rest on Sunday, Aug. 9.

Reeves will share the inspiration, process, and ideas behind her intricate hand-beaded sculptures, which explore the fragile space between life and death through flowers that embody both decay and preservation.

As the blooms are gradually deconstructed until only their delicate wire skeletons remain, At Rest invites us to reflect on memory, transformation, and the beauty that endures through change.

Tiny Talks offer a chance to slow down, ask questions, and experience art through the artist’s own perspective.
