If you want the freedom to enjoy more life in life, this is the book to pick up next.

I connected with Time Freedom’s premise as an early reader months ago.

But re-reading it today.

It resonated in a way that can only be explained as:
validating,
clarifying, and
highly motivating.

The concept of the ‘Freetimer Life Path’ has been, and will hopefully always be, my life path.

Except Brian’s experience and expertise highlights where I can increase my freedoms, in a very strategic and doable way.

“Freedom isn’t something we wait for but something we build.” Brian Herriot, Time Freedom.

So I’m working through the exercises and calculations as part of my fall prep for the new year.

You can grab your own copy and do the same.

Time Freedom is very readable and immediately actionable.

• Brian’s yellow poncho moment and his grandfather’s wit made me laugh out loud.
• Diane’s story brought tears and warmth.
• The diagrams, explanations, and exercises are clear.

Thank you for writing this book @timefreedomlife. I’m quite proud to know you and am excited for more “freetimers” to join this adventure!

Part 2 because apparently there's more than one way to change your financial life. 💰

At FinCon, I asked one simple question:

What's ONE money move that changed your life?

Different people. Different answers. And that's exactly the point; there's no one-size-fits-all-path when it comes to money.

Which answer from Part 2 stood out to you the most?

And if you missed Part 1, go watch that one too! Part 3 is up next.

Time freedom in THREE YEARS.

Most people operate in black and white:

Either you’re all in, working around the clock, growing at X rate, hitting X number.

Or… I’m sitting on a beach doing nothing.

They believe that quitting is the answer to true time freedom.

The reality is that people like us are never going to NOT work.

We’d sell the company, take a week off, and by day 8 be bored out of our minds asking whats next.

The version of freedom you’re actually after is probably just a small variation of the life you already have.

You still run the business.
You still make money.
You still produce.
You just stop being REQUIRED for all of it.

For me, freedom is two days a week where my team runs the show and I get to pour into Madison, homeschooling her, teaching her all of the skills I didn’t have until much later, and spending quality time with her that quite frankly I only have BECAUSE of my business.

Brian Herriot joined me this week on the Kelly Roach Show to break down his Time Freedom formula, including the free calculator he built so you can actually run your own numbers instead of guessing what’s required to live the life you actually want.

Comment PODCAST and I’ll send you the link to listen!

One of the great benefits of the work I do is having access to some amazing people.
‍
Not just because they are nice people - that helps, sure - but because they think differently about the challenges that many people face in their lives and businesses.
‍
This helps them become an extremely valuable resource to those they serve. And selfishly, I glean all of the juicy good stuff and apply it to my own world.
‍
Which is exactly what I’ve been able to do with my colleague @timefreedomlife.
‍
Before he hired me to do some work for him to up his visual presence, we had a phone call that was part game planning… and part financial therapy session for me.
‍
What struck me most about that conversation was that he was so generous with his time and expertise, despite the fact that he was about to hire ME.
‍
And, getting to know him a bit more as a person over time, I realized that this wasn’t an isolated incident… This is who he is.
‍
For a lot of folks - including me - when someone tells you that they’re a financial advisor, you brace for the pitch, and the guard goes up. That moment never happens with Brian because that’s not who he is.
‍
He embodies his work and instills that in those he serves.
‍
If you’re in a place in your life where you’re searching for a way to ditch the “grind” and build a well-lived life on your own terms now, then the next move is to buy his book, Time Freedom: Rethink Your Work and Money to Create a Life You Love Now… and actually read it.
‍
Retirement is a terrible time to start enjoying your life - start doing something about it now.

Brian Herriot figured out something most people miss.

Your money and your work are completely connected, but nobody treats them that way. Your financial advisor ignores the fact that you have a business. Your business coach won't talk about money. It's the gap.

At 46, Brian decided to fill it. He built one complete plan that lined up how he earned, what he spent, and how he invested. One direction. Everything pulling together. He started taking his summers off that year. Now he does it every year. Lakeside cabin in Northern Wisconsin.

He wrote it all down in Time Freedom. If you've ever wanted your financial advisor and business coach actually talking to each other, this book is that conversation: https://geni.us/timefreedom

P.S. If you've ever wished your financial advisor and business coach would talk to each other, Brian wrote the book for you. It's called Time Freedom, and it does exactly what the title says: puts your money and your work in one plan. https://geni.us/timefreedom

🚀 It’s launch day for Brian Herriot and Time Freedom!

Tonight, I have the honor of guest hosting Live Author Readings at 7 PM ET, and there’s a fun twist: Brian is normally the one hosting the experience, but tonight he’s stepping into the spotlight as the featured author.

Brian has built three companies and reached a point where he can work by choice rather than obligation. In Time Freedom, he challenges the traditional idea of waiting for “someday” to achieve financial freedom and asks a different question:

What if the resource you’re actually running out of isn’t money, but time?

I’ve been reading through the book and highlighting quite a bit, and I’m excited to dig into some of these ideas with Brian tonight.

Best of all, the event is completely FREE to attend.

📚 Join us tonight at 7 PM Eastern

And a huge congratulations to Brian on officially bringing Time Freedom into the world today! 🎉

Hope to see you there!

One of my favorite things is watching a friend put a big idea into the world, and today my friend’s book, Time Freedom, is officially out!

I really love the way this book reframes financial freedom.

It’s not just about having a giant pile of money or reaching some magical retirement number.

It’s about having choices.

What if you didn’t have to wait until retirement to have more control over your time? What if you could combine your lifestyle expenses, investment income, and flexible work to create more freedom along the way?

Because the goal isn’t just to accumulate money. It’s to use your money to build a life you enjoy.

Great work Brian Herriot! excited to see this book out in the world!

Go grab a copy of Time Freedom today! https://geni.us/timefreedom

HAPPY PUB DAY TO TIME FREEDOM! 📖🎉

My Rating: 4.5 ⭐️

As someone who is genuinely interested in personal finance, I found this book incredibly useful and thought-provoking.

We live in a culture that often tells us to “work as hard as you can and make as much as you can until age 65.” However, if we spend decades following that narrative, we can end up spending a lot of our weeks, months, and years doing things that DON’T bring us joy. There’s something to be said about creating more time, or “time freedom,” to do the things you love before 65!

This book gives you the practical tools to help you better understand your current finances while also showing you what you can do in the next few years (yes, the near future!) to create more freedom with your time. It challenges the idea that you have to wait several decades before you start living the life you want. Instead, this book encourages you to shift your perspective on earning, saving, and investing, and to think more intentionally about how your money can support the life you want to live (spouse, kids, pets, etc. included!).

As someone early in my career, I want to share this book with all my friends and family. It’s never too early (or too late!) to start having these conversations.

I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in personal finance, anyone who wants to create more time for the things (and people) they love, and especially anyone considering entrepreneurship. The book is full of helpful tips and includes several free resources that make the concepts more digestible. Creators looking to go full-time, this could be the book for you!

Thank you to the author and publisher for the advanced reader copy! 📚✨
