@forma.watches is finally out and I wanted to thank Giovanni for having me and us for this special day!

We unveiled the book in Bologna at @timeonshow.official together on a panel featuring Sandro Fratini, @dax2499, @minox3412, basically reuniting the legends.

I am so proud of this moment and about the words Giovanni has spent on me and I want to thank him, Fulvio and @vincenzofinizola.ph for everything, and of course congratulations to you for the impeccable work!

Gli orologi raccontano molto di noi. A volte anche più di quanto immaginiamo.

Oggi a Time on Show, a Bologna, ne abbiamo parlato con Luca Mignini e Paolo Cattagni, tra aneddoti, risate e riflessioni sul legame che si crea fra le persone e gli oggetti che scelgono di portare al polso.

Dal libro di Luca, Universal People Universal Dreams: A Personal Journey, all’esperienza di Paolo nell’alta orologeria, sono emersi incontri e ricordi che danno a un orologio un significato tutto personale. E spiegano perché certi pezzi continuino a emozionarci anche dopo tanti anni.

🎤 Nella nuova puntata di InduStream, abbiamo incontrato Pier Luigi Santi, ideatore di TIME ON SHOW, il progetto che unisce il mondo dell’orologeria vintage a quello del motorismo storico.

⌚ Nato a Bologna nel 2023, TIME ON SHOW si distingue per l’originalitá del format che va oltre la tradizionale fiera: un salotto dedicato all’orologeria internazionale, con un numero limitato di dealer selezionati da un comitato di esperti.

✈️ Dopo Bologna e Parigi, il percorso di internazionalizzazione guarda ora agli Stati Uniti, con la prossima tappa a New York, a novembre. Un percorso di crescita che vede BolognaFiere al fianco del progetto, anche attraverso le competenze del Gruppo negli allestimenti e nell’accoglienza.

Time on Show runs from 22 to 25 October at BolognaFiere, alongside Auto e Moto d’Epoca. Collectible watches and historic cars make natural neighbours: both reward attention to condition, construction and history.

For watch enthusiasts, the value goes beyond buying. Comparing pieces in person and speaking with specialist dealers can teach you things a listing leaves out.

TWG take: go with questions. Ask about restoration, replaced components and provenance. Then look again.
