Square, yet anything but predictable.

The Patek Philippe Cubitus Grand Date Ref. 5822P-001 reinterprets sporty elegance through bold geometry: a platinum case, a sunburst blue dial with a horizontal embossed pattern, and a perfect balance between contemporary design and high complication.

The grand date in a double aperture takes centre stage at 12 o’clock, complemented by the day display, moon phases and small seconds. At its heart beats the ultra-thin self-winding Calibre 240 PS CI J LU.

One of those watches that reveals far more up close than it does at first glance.

Andrea Foffi will also be among the selected exhibitors at the 2026 edition of TIME ON SHOW in Bologna.

A Rome-based dealer and collector, Andrea has built his career in the world of vintage watches, with a particular focus on the Omega Speedmaster, to which he also dedicated the book “Magister”.

From 22 to 25 October, he will join us with all the Exhibitors in Bologna with their selection of vintage and collectible timepieces.

Some watches tell the time. Others become part of history.

Marco Piretti of Piretti Watches introduces us to one of the most important timepieces ever created by Patek Philippe: the exceptionally rare ”Tasti Tondi”.

Produced in 1955 and accompanied by an Extract from the Archives, this example is a true collector’s gem. Only a very small number were crafted in pink gold, and even fewer feature the prestigious double-signed dial.

Three serpents. Three masterpieces. One irresistible bite: the bite of time.

At TIME ON SHOW, Bulgari’s icon shed its skin three times, revealing three extraordinary interpretations of the Serpenti “secret watch.”

The first, dating from the 1970s, coils around the wrist with pink coral scales set in yellow gold and ruby eyes. Beneath the serpent’s head lies a tiny mechanical movement—a secret revealed only to its wearer.

The second takes us back to the early 1960s: turquoise scales, emerald eyes and a petite diamond-set dial, powered by a Jaeger-LeCoultre mechanical movement.

The third, another expression of Bulgari’s creativity from the 1960s, captivates with green, yellow and blue polychrome enamel scales and diamond eyes. A true wrist sculpture, concealing time within the serpent’s head.

More than watches, these are precious creatures suspended between high jewellery, mechanical artistry and seduction.

At the beginning of the year, during TIME ON SHOW in Paris, we met Elvio Piva @tempus2 to discuss the latest trends in watchmaking and the evolution of collecting.

Elvio identified the 50th anniversary of the Nautilus as one of the key moments capable of bringing fresh energy to the market—a prediction confirmed by the remarkable interest generated by Patek Philippe’s commemorative model created to celebrate this important milestone.

But what truly drives collectors’ choices today? Personal taste, the desire to make a statement, or the search for an investment?

In a market where brands and models rise and fade increasingly quickly, Elvio leaves us with a simple yet far from obvious piece of advice:
