Something a little different today.
Picked up this @timex desk clock from Facebook recently.
A fun little piece of Americana for the Timex section of the display.

People often assume since I collect watches I must also collect clocks, do others get that?

I find it a strange question because in my head the two are very different but I get how to non watch collectors they can seem quite similar. Watches are more like a tool in my head whereas clocks (and especially fancy ones 🐦) are more like artwork in my mind.

If only petrol prices were still this low the collection would be double the size from all the savings 😅

Before joining the @omega Unit #speedmaster ranks, Mi Amigo deployed a modest @timex Waterbury during test pilot school. This hero shot with a T-38C Talon is during test pilot school while he’s rockin’ the Waterbury. He liked the Waterbury because it had a tenths of a second timer on the right sub-dial. He chose this particular Waterbury design because the orange matched “tester orange.” You see, flight test equipment and instrumentation is customarily orange. The more you know!

The things you find in puddles in the night.

I knew the only way to capture the full beauty of this full lume Timex T80 was a cheeky midnight photoshoot and coming back from night shift the opportunity presented it's self with some fantastic puddles on the road.

The first indiglow #barryspuddleshots - I just wish the backlight would stay on for a few seconds so I don't have hold the button and take the shot (took few tries for that second pic)

Definitely my favourite T80 in my collection and the one I'll throw down against any of the f91w fanboys that claim T80's to be the inferior watch - show me your full lume Casio circle jerkers 😅

I have to thank @timex_tokyo for this one, a sold out model that I missed the drop on but when I reached out they were able to magically find one for me to ship from Japan ❤️ A glowing example of Japanese customer service 😅

Not many full lume digi's out there so I reckon I'm the only one rocking one for this #digihumpday
