Sometimes, the things you entertain in your mind long enough begin to reflect in your character. Be intentional about what you feed your mind, because it may one day become your identity.

This was So Peaceful to paint 🇳🇬🇳🇬..

(7/31) NIGERIA 🇳🇬

For Nigeria, I wanted to explore the idea that strength can also mean supporting one another. The two hands reaching from opposite sides of the Nigerian flag and holding each other’s wrists represent connection, unity and the strength we find in community.

The white facial markings are inspired by Yoruba artistic traditions, bringing another layer of Nigerian cultural identity into the living canvas.

we learned to draw even deeper ones across our hearts.

Marriage and childbearing are too serious to be tied to foolishness. Choose wisely, because the person you marry doesn’t only become your partner, they become part of the environment your children will grow in.
