Feeling grateful for the NHS today. I am able to do so much more since I got my new knees. Going down is easy, getting back up still need a bit of work 🤣🤣🤣

Check out Back of the Bus Nae Mair Comedy Night on 16 October.

We had a great show in September…if you missed it you missed out on a real treat. The only way to overcome FOMO is to show up! October’s show is going to be another cracker.

Please share with people you think might need a good laugh but don’t have the money for a night out.

Each month we offer some free tickets to those who can’t afford to pay for fun or other extras in life. We are particularly interested in welcoming refugees, asylum seekers, unemployed or unwaged people, carers, and those in financial difficulties….but really anyone who needs a distraction from life for an evening that can’t afford it.

Each month some people who can afford it, buy an extra ticket to ‘pay it forward’ for those who can’t afford to buy a ticket. Thanks to those of you who donate and help Mona offer these.

Back of the Bus Nae Mair is Thursday night. The audience and the performers all loved the vibe at our first show last month. And people pished themselves laughing!
The friendly, relaxed and supportive vibe continues. And we have another VERY funny lineup.
Building diverse community through comedy….thats the plan.

Our next beginners' block is starting on the 18th of October. DM if you are interested. We have ukuleles you can borrow during the 6 week period. If you love the ukulele (which we are sure you will) we can recommend some nice entry level ukes you can buy....but at least you'll have one to try out and see if you like playing (which we are sure you will - LOL). After the 6 week class you'll be ready to jump into our weekly jam sessions on Wednesdays @transmissionglasgow and even join us in our gigs. Playing in public is optional, but it is one of the fun things we do....come join a super friendly LGBTQIA+ group (we are straight friendly too. We accept their lifestyle choices). Our sister group has a jam session on Tuesday nights at the Granary Pub- it is LGBTQIA+ friendly. #lgbtqia #ukulele #glasgow

Rowan has performed regularly in Scotland and even as far away as Prague. She’s had sold out shows at GICF and has done well in UK comedy competitions…Mona Mae loves her.
Come see her open our show on the 18th of September

Check out these hot comedians….and once again we are the far rights worst nightmare 🤣🤪. Our comedians this month include immigrants or children of immigrants, LGBTQIA+ folk, people with disabilities, young and old funny bones, and we are overwhelmingly women or genderqueer. But above all, these folk are FUNNY!!! Laughter is resistance!!!
