TBT to the South Korean tour of Sister Act 🇰🇷

Proof that theater kids physically cannot take a normal picture. Somebody always has to do the most. 😂

I’m Greg Safel — American actor, director, and acting teacher based here in Lisbon. I’ve been associated with the renowned Beverly Hills Playhouse in Los Angeles for over 26 years, and I’m bringing that methodology right here to Escola do Largo.

The next six-week session starts April 21st, Tuesday mornings from 10:00 to 13:00. We work on scene study and acting technique in English — and the class is designed for both English-speaking actors and Portuguese actors ready to work on international material.

With international film and TV productions increasingly coming to Portugal, there has never been a better time to sharpen your craft and get ready for those opportunities.

Being welcomed by our friends from Portland who have made their new homes in various cities throughout Europe was truly the highlight of our summer tour of Europe. Pam and Bill from Barcelona, Dan and Tim from Lisbon and Michael and Fab from London. These cities now seem more like home seeing them through your eyes. Thank you again for your hospitality. See you all again. #summervacation #barcelona #spain #barcelonaatnight #lasagradafamilia #barcelonapavilion #antoniogaudi #miesvanderrohe #hotelcasafuster #lisbon #portugal #metro #rivertaxi #rooftopviews #rooftopdining #london #londonlife #hydepark #summerpicnic #picnicinthepark #regentstreet #londonbyday #londonstreets #expatlife #friendslivingabroad #europeanvacation #europeanadventure #welcomehome #theportlandesigner #letscreatesomethingbeautiful

On Sunday February 11, 2024 the EMK family of Sister Act The Musical took its final bow at the D-Cube Arts Center to an incredible audience of beautiful fans in Seoul, South Korea!😍😍😍

This was an unforgettable experience and getting to share it with this company has been a humbling journey!💝💝💝

I’m so unbelievably grateful for the heartwarming love and support we were blessed to receive from all of our South Korean fans who showered us with love and cheer after every performance and the never ending gifts from all of our audience members has been so touching!🫶🫶🫶

But more than that I am inspired by this company and all the gifted artists I got tell this story with!🤗🤗🤗

It wasn’t always easy being so far from home and God has blessed me with so many wonderful relationships with people who have loved me, supported me, cried with me, prayed with me and embraced me throughout this entire process!

I learned so much about myself and the world around me during my time in South Korea and I look forward to taking all of that with me as I continue to grow and share everything I have to offer! 💜💜💜

As God continues to order my steps into the next chapter of Sister Act I’d like to give a huge thank you to @sophy_jiwon_kim at @emk_musical for this amazing opportunity to perform in Busan and Seoul, South Korea.🥰

I can’t wait to announce what’s next but until then stay tuned and don’t forget to SPREAD THE LOVE AROUND!
😛😛😛
