Ooooh I’m in a Studio! All I need is Kris Kristofferson, and we can do Evergreen!!!! When people retire, there’s this “What’s Next” thing that happens. Some just travel or sit home and tend those gardens and watch their stories. Others try something new. Dan has had some success as an author. Something he’s found and is passionate about. For me, it’s back to acting. English speaking opportunities are limited here, but Portugal is becoming a filming destination for many projects. I’m back in class, taking an Acting class and challenging myself. It’s under the umbrella of the Beverly Hills Playhouse. And it IS a challenge. I’ve also found a group called Scripteteria. Originallyin California, it is a group for scriptwriters to create and polish their work with others of the same mind. To help writers, they need actors to put voices to their work. I’ve been very fortunate to connect with them and do their last 6 tablespoons reads, where industry is invited to see and perhaps, connect with a writer or script for production. Happily, from THIS group, is signed my first contest for voiceover work for an upcoming animated feature, Now in production. Pretty cool for me… here I am in studio last Monday. by @timminlisbon
