There’s always a lot happening at WHAA on a Saturday! 🎶

Our classrooms are filled with music, creativity and lots of young artists doing what they love. We’re so grateful to have this space and the opportunity to teach so many students every week! ♥️🙏
Swipe through for a little glimpse of what tomorrow will be looking like over here!

Our Saturday Sessions now offer a Music Creators Camp class! 🎶

We had a full room of young creators who are passionate about music and ready to take their skills to the next level. We can’t wait to see what they’ll create and develop this Fall with the guidance of our awesome instructors! 🎧✨

Why does craftsmanship still matter?

For Alex, it’s simple: slowing down, paying attention to the details, and making something you can stand behind years from now. Quality isn’t created in the final product—it’s built into every decision along the way.

This is just a small part of his story.

Watch the full episode of California Makers from the link in bio and hear why craftsmanship, family, and doing things the right way continue to shape everything we make.

The details that rarely get noticed are often the ones that matter most.

Alex walks through why we reinforce key stress points on our cargo pants—not because it’s the easiest way to make them, but because it‘s the right way.

Craftsmanship isn’t found in a single feature. It‘s built into every decision.

So why fire? Every time I light a fire and cook with it, the vision of who I am and my purpose on Earth becomes clearer.

Burning away any uncertainty.

After almost three decades of questioning what I was here to do, the vision is now clear. My heart is full with gratitude as I know my ancestors lit the path.

This ancient cooking technology evokes sense memories and links past with present. The memories of growing up in Arizona fishing, camping, and cooking around the fire with my family. How my mom could outcook any man on the grill during neighborhood BBQs with her tri-tip, salmon, and anything she touched.

Fire demands total presence. There’s no hiding, no short cuts. Its unpredictable, elemental nature pulls me into a flow state. A trance.

I feel like a DJ rhythmically maneuvering through the smoke, the turntables being burning hot coals.

No trickery, just real transformation. Can’t wait to live the rest my days gathering folks around the fire and cooking through its mysteries.

The MCC groups are teamed up with their coaches on today’s field trip, planning their film assignments and bringing their concepts to life.

A huge thank you to @apple at The Grove for hosting our creators for the third year in a row! ♥️ We’re having the best time!
