So… today I heard some VERY strange noises.

I had never heard these sounds before in my whole life, so obviously I had to investigate. 👂😳

Then I discovered the truth…

IT WAS DAD. 😭😂

He was making all the weird noises himself and just sitting there like nothing happened. 🤨

I don’t know what he was doing, but I was watching him VERY closely. 👀

Honestly, living with humans is exhausting…

🎀🐾 HELLO WORLD… I’M DOLLY! 🐾🎀

Apparently I have some very exciting news…

I’m leaving Málaga 🇪🇸 and moving to LANZAROTE on Thursday! 🌴☀️✈️

That’s right. This little Shih Tzu is becoming an island girl! 🏖️🐶🤎🤍

I’ll be moving in with my two new dads, Timmy & David 👨🏻❤️👨🏻, who have already promised to spoil me rotten.

I’ve been assured there will be:
🍗 Lots of treats
🧸 Lots of toys
🛏️ Lots of comfy naps
🤗 Unlimited cuddles
🏖️ Adventures in the sunshine
📸 An unreasonable number of photos of me
…and absolutely NO shortage of attention. 💅🏼

I think I’m going to like it here. 😂

My dads say they’re going to give me the best life ever, and honestly… they’d better! 👑

I’m bringing my tiny paws, my big personality and my ability to get away with absolutely everything. 😇🐾

So follow along as I begin my new life in Lanzarote — expect sunshine, cuddles, adventures, mischief and plenty of me being fabulous. 🎀✨

Málaga was lovely… but Lanzarote, I think we’re going to be besties. 🌴🤎🤍

Love,
Miss Dolly Paws 🐶🎀

It’s June and it was in the 50’s here in Massachusetts over the weekend! Call me crazy but it’s been THAT chilly here so I lit one of our French Country Home autumn candles for a cozy vibe ….. This is New England after all and it will be in the 90’s by Thursday ~xo

Never forget about self care! I know it’s hard sometimes with everyone’s busy schedules but the most important thing is to take care of yourself FIRST so that you can take care of everything and everyone else! I know it’s hard for a lot of you with young families but even a candlelit bath at the end of the evening can refresh your soul and rejuvenate your body and spirit!

For me, having candles lit around my home is my ultimate self care….It brings a scenes of calming peace and a quiet energy of joy!

What do you do for your self care? I’d love to know in comments! ~xo

Quiet moments are self care as well as not stressing about the numbers, lack of followers and trying to jump the algorithms here! I know a lot of you are struggling here on instagram and I get it! But we must remember our “WHY” ! Why did we come to this platform?!!!

I’m trying not to stress over these things and remembering my “WHY” ! It’s hard though when you see newbies climbing the poll numbers of followers and views on their reels reach the IG stratosphere etc… BUT with that being said, I’m enjoying my tribe here and I’m blessed that all of you have found my little account here on this platform and I’ve carved out my little space here !!

Thank you all so much for showing up and following along on stories each and every day and supporting my content! As you know by now, I don’t follow the crowds here, I don’t post the trendy tablescapes for all the things nor do I redecorate my home for all the things to keep up with the popular crowd!

I hope to bring you a little calm and peace with my slow living lifestyle with my reels and maybe some inspiration along the way! ~xo

A peaceful Saturday morning on the Culdesac! We woke up to more sleet and snow this morning, not much but enough to say “what the heck is going on”…The calendar says April 12th, but Mother Nature has other plans…. I think I’ll bake some cinnamon sugar crescent rolls for breakfast and continue working on candles …. Even though it’s April and sleeting outside, it’s a cozy slow morning here….

Just the way I like it ~xo

Peaceful morning moments I cherish ! Soft lighting in the kitchen, making a cup of tea and baking cinnamon sugar crescent rolls for breakfast!! Small quiet moments before I open our spring candle sale for Peony Petals today to the public! I have no doubt my husband will smell these delicious treats and devour them when he comes downstairs! And I’m sure I’ll have one or two with him before the day begins! I was inspired by my friend Heidi @eleanorrosehome to make these crescent rolls when I saw them on her stories! They’re so easy peasy and delicious! I used kings Hawaiian crescents that add a little bit of extra sweetness, brushed them with melted butter and sprinkled cinnamon sugar on top !! I have no doubt they will be gone within minutes!

Enjoy your morning solitude ~xo
