Living my little dream here in Lanzarote 🇮🇨

Sometimes I have to stop for a moment, take it all in and remind myself how lucky I am to call this beautiful island home. 🥹🌊

The sunshine, the ocean, the slower pace of life, the beautiful sunsets, the friends, my wonderful partner and that feeling of being exactly where I’m meant to be in life❤️

Of course, it isn’t perfect every single day nobody’s life is perfect all the time, but there’s something so special about living somewhere that makes your soul feel a little lighter. ✨

Lanzarote, you’ve well and truly stolen my heart. ☀️ I honestly can’t imagine being anywhere else in the world right now

Here’s to making memories, enjoying the little things and appreciating this beautiful life we’re lucky enough to live. 🌴

Welcome October! 🍂

It’s officially cosy season right? 😍🤎

Although, where I live in Lanzarote, the season doesn’t change much in October, Autumn doesn’t really exist here… it’s just summer with a different date. 😂☀️

While everyone else is reaching for jumpers, boots and pumpkin spice, I’m still reaching for my sunglasses and sun cream! 😎

It is one thing I miss alot about Ireland is the change of seasons BUT I am not complaining one bit… I’ll happily take a little more sunshine. 🌴☀️

👻 HALLOWEEN SHOPPING IN LANZAROTE 👻

The Halloween decorating has officially begun! 🕷️🕸️

I headed to Baratissimos to see what spooky goodies I could find, and of course… I didn’t leave empty handed 😂🎃

I picked up some Halloween decorations and a few bits to start transforming the house into a spooky little Halloween haven 👻🖤

And this is only the beginning… because I am NOT done decorating yet! 🎃

Things I miss about Ireland 🇮🇪🤍

Moving away doesn’t mean you stop missing the people, places and little things that made home feel like home.

I miss my family. I miss my friends. I miss the familiarity of everything even the little things I never thought I’d notice.

But I’ve also realised that you can miss your old home while falling in love with your new one. 🇮🇨

Lanzarote has given me a completely different life, and I’m so grateful I took the chance.

It’s figuring out a new routine, Finding your people, Missing home. Having days where everything feels exciting and days where everything feels unfamiliar.

But somewhere along the way, Lanzarote has started feeling more like home. 🤍

So… I think it’s time to reintroduce myself. 🤍

If you’ve been here since the beginning, you’ll know that life has changed quite a lot for me over the past 2 years.

And if you’re new here… welcome. You’ve joined me in a very different chapter of my life.

Back in December I decided to pack up my stuff and leave my beloved Ireland behind and made one of the biggest decisions of my life and moved to Lanzarote to start a new life with my partner. 🇮🇪➡️🇮🇨

It wasn’t simply a change of scenery. It was a completely new chapter a different lifestyle, a different pace, new experiences, new challenges and a lot of personal growth along the way.

Leaving behind everything familiar and starting again somewhere new has definitely had its moments. It hasn’t all been sunshine and sunsets, but it’s taught me so much about taking chances, stepping outside my comfort zone and creating a life that feels right for me with the one I love.

Looking back, it’s amazing to think how much can change in 2 years but I now know everything happens for a reason and it was for the better.

So, here I am reintroducing myself and this new chapter of my life. 🤍

To everyone who has been here since day one, thank you for sticking around through all the different chapters. And if you’re new here, welcome I’m so glad you found me and I hope you enjoy me and my content.

There’s still so much of this chapter to live, experience and share.

Here’s to new beginnings, taking the leap, and creating a life you once only dreamed about. 🌴☀️

I never thought I’d say this, but I left the Irish sunsets behind for these. 🇮🇪🌅🇮🇨

There will always be something so special about an Irish sunset especially when you’re watching it with your favourite people, wrapped up in a coat and pretending you’re not absolutely freezing 😂

But now I get to watch the sun go down surrounded by palm trees, ocean views and that gorgeous Lanzarote sky. 🌴🌊☀️

A different place, a different chapter, but just as many moments I’ll want to remember forever. 🩵

Ireland will always be home in so many ways, but I’m slowly starting to realise that home can be more than one place and where you make it. ✨

Here’s to chasing sunsets, making memories and being brave enough to choose a life I’ve always dreamed about. 🇮🇪➡️🇮🇨

Cold, crisp Monday mornings feel very different when you’ve swapped the grey skies, chilly air and endless layers in Ireland 🇮🇪 for sunshine, blue skies and a view like this in Lanzarote🌴🇮🇨

No rushing around in the cold. No stepping outside and instantly wishing you’d put another jumper on.

Just opening the doors, coffee in hand and feeling the warmth on your face and thinking…this is how Monday mornings should feel. 🥰☀️

I left behind the life I knew… for the life I had always dreamed about ☀️🌴

For years, I had this feeling that there was more out there for me.

More adventure.
More sunshine.
More freedom.
More living.

But how often do we put our own dreams on hold because staying comfortable feels safer?

Then came the moment when I had to choose. And I chose myself for once in life.

I chose the life I had always wanted to experience.
I chose a fresh start. I chose to stop saying maybe one day and actually made it happen.

Sometimes you have to leave the life you know to make room for the life you’ve been dreaming about. 🌴☀️

And looking back now…

I’d choose that leap all over again. ❤️
