After 12 years, 100 shows, 769 performances, 598 different acts*, 2 permanent hosts (me and this legend 👉 @sanshaworld), at least 2 guest hosts (two more legends @gabrielangelmoreno77 & @zachsaidmusic) and a whole lot of merriment, last night we hosted our 100th & FINAL Laid Bare At The Ritzy.

This is the night where it all began back in the summer of 2013, when I had a very vague idea about creating a platform for musicians in South London. I wanted somewhere where musicians were put first, where they would be supported and their music listened to by attentive audiences.

It was about creating a little community.

And, not only am I really proud that we were able to achieve that, but never in my wildest dreams did I imagine we'd still be doing it so many years later. Now we’re expanding to venues across London and working with some of the best bands and singer-songwriters around... and in a whole range of capacities, such as video production, music marketing and through our label - Laid Bare Records.

To every musician who’s played there (and especially those who joined us last night) - thank you for making it so special.

But just to clarify… this isn’t the end of Laid Bare. Far from it. We’re moving forward with new shows across London and beyond (starting at @colourshoxton next Thursday with @stillpigeon - last few tickets available!), as well as our first shows outside London (in Brighton & Bristol in November), plus others to look forward to at @omearalondon, @thelexingtonlondon and @the_water_rats coming up.

We also have our first Song Summit coming up later this year - a writing camp with some of the biggest Platinum-selling songwriters in the UK, as well as our upcoming Artist Accelerator programme to help independent musicians break through that annoying glass ceiling. 🚀

So the journey continues, and we'd love you to stay involved by following @laidbaremusic

Thank you again for all the love and support. Here’s to the next chapter 💪🏽 ❤️
