Magical night watching Frost: Story of A Lifetime on the big screen with many of my oldest and newest friends. The film perfectly captured Frost’s kindness, his bond with nature, the endless innovation, and so much history I never knew. (CIA and plutonium on mtns!?)

For maybe five years around 2000, I called Tom frequently for advice, and it was always spot on. But more than that, I wanted to absorb his thoughtfulness, kindness, and humor. So many heroes become a little less after you meet them. Frost was the opposite. He became more inspiring the more time I spent with him. This film captured all that and more.

We are so glad @tomseawell @j_wiant @craigflax took this project on and dedicated 15+ years to the story. Such a gift.

Big shoutout to @cascadekitchens for hosting. It's incredible to see an abandoned Kmart garden center transformed into a vibrant community hub with great food and maybe the last $3 beer in Tahoe? I hope this space inspires others to take a chance on our town, build local businesses, and bring people together.

Huge thanks to @skirunpresents, co-conspirators @torlow and @coreyrichproductions - can't wait for the next one!

I had the opportunity to document an incredible climbing adventure in Yosemite with @timmyoneill and @jackwurster as they took on The Nose on El Capitan, aiming to complete the route in under 24 hours. Alongside my friend Nicola Martinez, I followed their journey from the preparation at the base of El Capitan to the final pitches of the climb. While they climbed through the night, Nicola and I made our way to the summit, spent the night on top, and rappelled down six pitches before the sunrise to meet them near the finish and photograph those final moments. They completed the climb in approximately 23 and a half hours, an incredible achievement later featured by @patagonia_climb . Huge respect to Jack for continuing to push the limits like that, and for a lifetime of dedication to climbing. His experience, commitment, and passion for the sport are truly inspiring. And a big shoutout to Timmy O’neill as well. Having two climbers with a combined age of 115 taking on such an iconic route is a powerful reminder that passion and determination really don’t have an age limit.
Special thanks for @nicolamartinezz for inviting me to be part this adventure ⚡️.

The Dirty Billie Triple! @timmyoneill and I put together another link up in the Sierra. Two years ago was our first DBT where we climbed the Hulk, Calaveras Dome, and the Leap. This time we opted for less driving, but perhaps a bit more hiking.
Leaving the car at 5:00 am we headed out and climbed the fantastic Third Pillar of Dana. Back at the car we drove over towards the trailhead near Saddlebag Lakes to climb Mount Conness’s Harding Route. We finished off the day with The Regular Route on Fairview.
A big day in the Alpine with a great partner!
