God Speed- My Baby @maisonbymilan will be interning at @vaillantstudio in📍Paris, France! She will start during Paris Fashion Week in September, right before she starts Fashion School at the #1 Fashion School in the world! @esmodparis!

I am BEAMING with pride! She just received her welcome email today! She accomplished this on her own! She’s simply a GENIUS! I’m so PROUD of her!

I was in Milan, Italy when I found out I was pregnant with her 18 yrs ago! I named her Milan after the FASHION Capital of the world “Of Course”!

FULL CIRCLE ⭕️ MOMENT!

She’s a 4th Generation Fashion GURU and she’s only 18!

Her Resume consist of Fashion Styling Music Videos, Editorial Shoots, Fashion Shows, Fashion PR and her Fashion Marketing Skills + her Ai Creativity is NEXT LEVEL! The innovation that she has is MIND BLOWING!

She has worked so hard to get here! The level of work ethic she has is so inspiring! To watch her grow in her craft is something that I will never get enough of!

She truly gets it honest! I raised her on sets in the wardrobe dept since she was a baby! I remember bringing her to shoots in a stroller! She then started to assist me at 5! Rolling racks on racks on racks at the Sony Lot with @queenlatifah to helping and assisting my mommie @iamangeladean with LA Fashion week and many Celebs! She was at the table when @black_design_collective was being formed when she was 10! Now at 18 she SOARS!

This is a moment I will suspend in time. I’m so thankful for her! God is all over her life! Watch My Baby Soar Yall!

Whitney Houston sold over 220 million records and broke barriers across music, film, and fashion. Off stage, her elegance was just as deliberate as her voice.

Chosen by award-winning celebrity stylist Timothy Snell @timothysnellone — the man behind some of the most iconic looks in #Hollywood on Whitney Houston, Queen Latifah, Angela Bassett, and Tisha Campbell-Martin.

For his Spring 2005 collection, shown at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Smashbox Studios in Los Angeles, Hall drew inspiration from Millicent Rogers — the Standard Oil heiress celebrated for her effortless, unconventional glamour.

In this collection, Hall reimagined the Whitney Gown in a bold black and white polka dot, reinterpreting the signature silhouette through a more playful and graphic lens while preserving its essential architecture.

In attendance at Hall’s Spring 2005 runway show were celebrities including Laurence Fishburne, who commented “I think my wife needs to own every piece that was in the collection this evening.”

In 2006, animator Sarah E. Meyer wore Kevan Hall’s Whitney Gown when she accepted the Emmy Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation for the “Easter Basket” episode of Robot Chicken at the 58th Annual Creative Arts Emmy Awards — bringing the designer’s signature sensibility to one of television’s most distinctive award nights.

In November 2024, Japan Airlines invited Hall on an inspirational journey to Tokyo, Kagawa, and Tokushima, where he immersed himself in centuries-old Japanese craft traditions including suminagashi marbling, kintsugi, and indigo dyeing.

Returning home, he reimagined the Whitney Gown in a suminagashi-inspired print in alabaster and taupe — honoring both the heritage of the original design and the artisans who inspired its evolution.

10 years ago, I produced the very first @stylistssuite gifting suite during the @betawards weekend in 2016.

What started as a vision became a space where fashion, media, culture, and storytelling came together.

One of my favorite memories? Interviewing stylist and fashion architect @thepamelawatson inside the suite wearing one of the flyest custom embroidered suits I’ve ever seen. I’m still waiting on that gifted suit, Pam.

Looking back, I’m proud of how far Stylists Suite has come—from curated rooms and conversations to building a community.

To everyone who has been part of this journey over the last decade—thank you.
