A little send off party last night with the most beautiful people. So grateful for these spirits on the journey and for the collective hug. No goodbyes, just see you laters…

The London Arboretum is now in Pages of Hackney on Lower Clapton Road, my favourite local bookshop. It could not ask for better company next to 'The Word for World: The Maps of Ursula K. Le Guin' and Cooking with Plants.

If you have not been, @pagesofhackney have the most thoughtfully selected stock, and everyone working there knows exactly when to leave you in peace or to chat. They are helpful, even enthusiastic no matter if you order Zelda sheet music for the kids, obscure German hiking guides for the holidays, or something off their local Top10 list - Jo's recommendations have improved many holidays no end.

Their readings support issues and authors they believe in and has featured people like Sara Ahmed, authors for Gaza or @kenworpole (who also happens to have a brilliant essay in the London Arboretum).

And if money is tight: they have a Pay-it-forward scheme which my son has used as part payment for my Christmas present one year.

Thank you Pages, thank you @architecturefoundation, thank you for the pic @timrettler

Post occupancy Mile End Waste

We remade (with @buildingcraftscollege the never built “ lost “ column of Wickham’s department stone just out of sight.

Slide 3 still proud of the simple move of shifting cars to the right and building a new footpath so that the pedestrian can saunter next to the grass of Mile End Waste .

Works at our Holyrood street garden and kiosk structure are nearing completion, with the large scale letters of @studiomathiasclottu ‘s sign arriving on site. The project forms part of the low line project threading together a collection of public spaces along Southwark’s railway viaducts. Structure by @priceandmyers. Landscape and ecology (still to come) by @macfarlaneassociates. Looking forward to opening to the public later this summer!

I received this photo from Tim Rettler, showing the Rolling Pin Paintings “In situ, unwrapped. We are not quite sure where they will reside permanently but that’s a nice thing to figure out”.

I would love to receive and share more photos of my work in context. Please email or DM pictures and I will share them.
