Yesterday marked the ending of one of the most beautiful journeys I’ve had in my career! I was proud to be the Associate Director for Carmela: Full of Wishes written by @realcrazymex at the @alliancetheatre 🎭 This is one of the most beautiful stories I’ve read out here that serves the children, families and adults. It’s a story about family, community and connections. I’m so proud I got to be part of this journey with @aristotlejr, such an inspiration and guide for me. Let’s not forget about these amazing Latino actors who put their heart and soul into this. Emma, Layla, Diego, Caleb, María, María, Joseé, Adrian, Sebastian and Caleb. You all immersed yourselves in this story and gave permission to feel and be the story. Barb, our amazing SM! Lilly, Paige, all the amazing designers, Tina, Robert, Frank, German, Tom, Suzanne. The crew working the show, Larry, Daviorr, and Everyone who was part of this beautiful project! And a big shoutout to @samanthaprovenzano because without her I wouldn’t be in this position ❤️ Here’s to telling more stories! Upward and onward we go!

It’s been a week since the opening of Carmela Full of Wishes, and I just want to share how full of love I am from this experience. ❤️ It feels like winning the lottery when you get to uplift a beautiful piece that celebrates the everyday people who sustain a community; when you get to create alongside artists who motivate and inspire you to imagine harder; and when you’re supported by an institution filled with spectacular staff and a team that cares deeply and wants nothing more than to see the work shine. So many dreams are interrupted by forces outside of our control. That feels especially evident today, as our political climate continues to threaten and disrupt the lives of so many, with ICE’s presence weighing heavily on our communities. Carmela Full of Wishes is a reminder that we are stronger together—and that relentless joy can be an antidote to adversity. It means the world to me to celebrate the people of our community with dignity and respect. Even more so, to have the opportunity to do it with intention, skill, and care. This experience has been overflowing with generosity, artistry, and so much love from this beautiful company. Thank you, Alliance Theatre for making my first time so memorable, Dell for being an incredible collaborator and for trusting me with this story, and thank you to every single person who poured themselves into this work. Here’s to a magnificent run during Hispanic Heritage Month! ❤️ -•- Carmela Full of Wishes Director & Choreographer: Dell Howard @aristotlejr Scenic Design: Frank Oliva @frankjoliva Costume Design and Prop: Tina McCartney @tinamccartneydesign Lighting Design: Robert Aguilar @fake_robert Sound Design: Germán Martínez Projection Design: Tom Ontiveros

These last couple months have been very exciting. I always dreamt of telling these stories but I never thought this was the time to do so. After being 4 years in the US figuring out my path and who I wanted to become, I became the Associate Director for Carmela: Full of Wishes at the @alliancetheatre with none other than @aristotlejr directing🎭 There’s one thing that I’m certain about in life, and that is telling authentic stories to our communities. We are stronger when we are united ❤️ Go watch these amazing artists pour their heart and soul into Carmela: Full of Wishes 🌹 #latinostories #theatre #authentic

I performed at the 79th Annual @thetonyawards 🤩 Wow, where do I even begin?! Truly such a DREAM come true and an unexpected gift! So many firsts and *pinch me* moments. My first time performing at the Tony Awards, first time recording vocals in a music studio, performing with 170 Broadway performers, @pink , @theestallion , and SO many other things I have yet to process. HUGE thank you to the one and only @sarahogleby and team dance @robinmasella @susiecarroll @jennie__ford for trusting me to be a part of such a magical, electrifying, and unforgettable moment in theater history! Thank you to our conductor, our writers @pasekandpaul @sonnen_blick our costumer designers, and to my 11 sister lady marmalades for your endless talent, kindness, and ferocity. I’ve spent every day inspired by every single person who was a part of this cast and team! Thank you to each of you for an experience I’ll never forget ✨💕

I know I’ve been holding on to these memories really close to my heart! Ladybug, D, Je’Shaun, Mel having been getting on me and I’ve been listening y’all ☺️🙃 TiTi Tanner has to show her babies what I’ve been up to this year. I had the pleasure of working on @romyandmichelethemusical 🎭✨ That day I walked in the rehearsal studio and meet everyone, I had a really good feeling! Let’s just say I was right!!!! 😌✨ Wasn’t expecting to come off of this play with genuine good friends but I can honestly say I did! We got through Tech and off we went 🚀 Of course I had the party room and crew and thank GOD I did 🥰 My girls made it such a treat to come to work! I miss y’all so much already🤗 We ended it with Rainbow Fairy dust, Endless snacks, Pickle everything, Dance Parties and a few Cocktails (IYKYK!😉) Can’t forget about the fuzzy bed that came in clutch on triple show days for me (Great idea JoJo!) #romyandmichele #romyandmicheleshighschoolreunion #Wardrobeteam #OffBroadway #ThisIsMyRealLife
