Yesterday some members from the StAC multi sport group tackled Goats pass to get some training in for the coast to coast. It’s around a 30km run with 1000m of elevation through rugged terrain. There was lots of rock hopping and river crossings, which overall lead to an awesome day!

TINA GEORGE - MANAGER / COACH

Tina George AKA Twinkle toes Tina AKA Ginger Ninja is the teams crazy coach. Tina has a love for funky costumes and wigs, which she comes to support the teams in 🔥. She loves the adventure racing, fishing 🎣 , surf life saving and anything outdoors 🌳. Tina is quite the handy person and is quoted saying duct tape can fix just about anything. She helps rile the teams spirits 💥 up and get them involved. Just watch out as she has said she’s going to wake up the team with Avicii’s song WAKE ME UP, (sorry to other teams who hear this). Tina’s a fun bubbly coach who’s going to make this trip a blast 🔥!!

Had a great first run through Goat Pass! That terrain is so tough for running, I've got a long way to go before Feb. @coasttocoastnz #coasttocoast #paddlerlearningtorun
