POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The coldest moment on a winter ride is usually at the top of a climb.

Spend the whole climb sweating into a jacket with nowhere for the moisture to go. Wind chill does the rest.

The answer is layers, not bulk. Base layer, merino jersey, gilet, jacket. Pieces you can move between as the route changes rather than one heavy layer you’re committed to from the car park. The gilet earns its place more than almost anything else: on for descents, packed away on climbs, takes up no space.

Proof that networking doesn’t need a meeting room. 🚴‍♂️🏎️

40+ riders, great roads, perfect weather and a genuinely good group of people.

A week on from the Holmes Cycling × Bell Sport & Classic ride, this one still feels like a proper highlight — a few hours on the bike, plenty of conversation and some very special cars waiting back at base.

Thanks again to everyone who came along and made it such a good day.

Holmes Cycling · Bell Sport & Classic · OGT · Velo Clean · GRVL · 1816 Cycles · J. Laverack Cycles · Mouv

We should probably do that again.

September is always a busy month but it’s always spent doing things I love.

Another London to Paris ticked off, mostly off road with @leadout.events, @grvl.apparel, @1816cycles and @aeightbikeco keeping the wheels turning.

450km, 4 days and plenty of premium French pastry to fuel the adventure.

Entries for 2027 are already open so head over to @leadout.events and join the fun.

40+ riders. Great roads. Fast bikes. Special cars. 🚴‍♂️🏎️

What a day. Cycling networking by @holmes_cycling. Matt and his team delivered the perfect event 👌. Make sure you check them out and get in touch to host their next event.

Sunshine, a brilliant ride through the Chilterns, plenty of pace and even more conversation as Holmes Cycling and Bell Sport & Classic brought together a fantastic group for a day of cycling, cars and networking.

Huge thanks to everyone who rode with us — and to the partners who made it happen:

Same again soon? 👀

WE’RE GOING NIGHT RIDING!

After a glorious summer of riding, the days are getting shorter and the opportunity for a post work ride is slipping away. Not for long though.

Join us on the 15th October at @churchfarmcafe for 30km of trails through dusk and into the dark.

There’s something even better than a free coffee before the ride too, we’re giving away a pair of GRVL socks to every rider.

6PM meet for a 6:30PM roll, lights required.

Ticket link is in our bio, see you there!

London to Paris on gravel the final stage. Beginning with a ride through Monet’s village Giverny, then across fields and through forests to finally arrive in central Paris for a spectacular finish!

Such an amazing four days of gravel riding with so much fun along the way. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to just ride and have everything else taken care of by the brilliant @leadout.events team.

London to Paris on Gravel stage 2 took us to the beautiful city of Rouen with plenty of cycling fun along the way!

90% of riders opted to use the bridge rather than the ride the river crossing but it’s your adventure and you do it your way. What would you have done, dry feet or wet feet, let us know?

What a great way to start this gravel bike adventure from @leadout.events. Heading south from Guildford on canal paths and old railway lines until we hit the coast, then along using the seafront on bike paths to Brighton, finishing at Newhaven ferry port before crossing to France and a night in a hotel.

Everything taken care of, hotels, luggage, cafe stops, backup mechanics, all you have to do is enjoy the riding!

We’re taking the trails less travelled later this week, joining our mates @leadout.events for 4 days of brilliant gravel riding all the way to Paris.

We’ve even designed a custom jersey for both ride captans and riders, keeping temperatures under control thanks to a unique blend of Merino and Tencel fibres.

Follow our journey on socials as we head south, stopping in at probably one too many boulangeries on the way.

The best ‘not a wedding’ wedding I’ve ever been to. So much fun. And couldn’t be happier for my bestest friends Charlotte and Tink. Chapeau 🥂
