POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Redirection , love this word. My artwork has taken many mediums and many redirections and grown along the way, different periods in life and different forms. Recently delving into oil paintings. With work being created since my last expedition, drawing on landscape , nature and the people I met along the way. I am excited to continue to explore oils but also bring back my free machine embroidery and see what redirection my art takes me in. The seagull sculpture is still my proudest piece that makes me smile.

Reminding myself to breeze through life. To think this time last year I was training not for acting, or a performance of any kind. Sourcing agents or finding my way around the professional pitching industry. But by walking beautifully and simply from A- B daily around three Maltese islands.

This moment was taken after a long day, delayed by public transport for my team's arrival. And an extended day of walking that did not stop at my planned lunchtime but at sunset. Yet the moment captured is of a pure smile. Nothing but joy. In a world where trials and tribulations are thrown at us. It just shows there are always ways to smile in the storm.

Location Gozo and the beautifully known Dwejra Bay with 140 metre cliffs waiting to scale the next day.

This autumn I look forward to settling down some mornings and writing the second half of my book.

My Art

The little girl at the start of this video has always been the creative girl. If I also shared the artwork that is carefully saved in a little box this video would be even longer.

That time my artwork went all the way to Canada for a free art initiative. The happiness and smile on this man's face. That got me thinking of an idea.

My artist and community part of me, Tiny Gatherings used to be Stitcha Co. From cushions, to lampshades, with a seagull sculpture in-between, travels have time for surfboard art and time in the outdoors in all weathers and how many more travels are not shown here. Christmas markets and tiny needlefelted robins. Cards and hand warmers. In-between a little girls dress or two. The list goes on. Then Tiny Spaces came and this artists work turned into podcasts and sustainable interiors, curtains, cushions and more.

The artist in me has always been there, even in the form of acting , performance, storytelling. A talent I never understood was my asset until a teacher saw something special in me and taught me everything she knew, strengthened my craft and pushed me in directions I didn't know I was capable of. Headshots come, extra work comes, agent submissions come. Producing, writing the artist continues.

Community and bringing people together, connecting in person with Wild Voices and Proffesional networking. Each adapted craft blossoms. Curate's and creatively blooms.

So now the skills are well crafted and like a huge box of chocolates that often melt together.

Acting, storytelling is always the fire, producing an expedition film, pre developing a TV series, working on writing a book, expedition reports for the RGS , painting, stitching, exhibiting, bringing community together through storytelling.

Remembering all those pieces I did before and all that is to come.

Never stop creating , whatever rollercoaster comes your way always go back to that artist in you, what makes you happy, what feeds your soul and what drives your personality for it's a rare one and inspired others even when you don't realise it.

Keep being beautifully curious, filled with love, and passionate. For we need more more more in this world.

There is something so precious about connections with people. With those who may start as strangers and stay. Those who you meet at a bench during the eclipse and they pass but that memory stays with them for the rest of there life. Just like this connection in Malta where I asked this wonderful man a simple question are those prickly pears, which turned into more fruit and conversations and time well spent and then an invite to a BBQ and then connections with his family and more.

He said to me see me now because I don't know if I will be around next year but if you see me now I will be.

Yesterday I got to cherish the eclipse with my parents, on the beach and with pizza. A moment I will never forget. When I am elderly I will be that woman who dances and says I last saw this with my family and share all about that time as the best story. And relive that moment.

Yesterday I gave my glasses to a family of three generations. How greatful and thankful they were to witness that. That teenage boy is going to remember that for the rest of his life with his mum, grandad and sister. That is precious and beautiful.

A different post this morning 💓. A wonderful afternoon yesterday where I got to reconnect with the lovely Jess & Ed ( plus there beautiful new baby) . I met them at the amazing @tiny.gatherings festival in 2023 when they came to one of my journaling classes. Jess gave the most incredible talk that has stuck with me ever since, her life story full of creativity, passion, inspiration and resilience, and I learnt afterwards about the incredible artist that Ed is - what a couple ( plus they are lovely humans too 👏)
I was terrified doing my first festival and it definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone but I met some wonderful people ( @herwiththathair @chrissy_ihenacho ) and showed myself what I am capable of 💪✨🌻. My message today - Be brave you never know what will come of it!! Thankyou Jess and Ed for visiting and thankyou @nicol.eah for creating the festival.
📝 Today simply write down what you are scared to do and why? Then write out what could go right if you gave it a try and what would that feel like ?

New Blog live from the amazing @tiny.gatherings @nicol.eah so worth a read, head over to E3coach.com and head to blogs.

“Last year I navigated the peak of constant loss, grief, and the aftermath of escaping an emotionally abusive relationship.

Prior to this, my knee swelled and I was diagnosed with reactive arthritis. The dull, constant pain meant that as a grown adult I was attempting to walk down a hill holding onto my mum’s arm, feeling as though I had aged sixty years. Getting up from the floor was impossible without help. At one stage, I wondered if this was my future self.

Fast forward to ten days hiking the landscape of my ancestors Malta, Gozo and Comino.

But the expedition didn’t begin when I landed on the island.”

Close your eyes. Listen. To the splash of a local jumping off the rock. Feel the Mediterranean water and minerals soaking into your skin and the sun resting on your face. Float like a starfish for you have made it so very far. Physically, mentally. Celebrate. This is your celebration. Just listen, look up and feel calm. What a luxury.

Today Narration filming begins.
Wanting to do this justice despite having decades of acting experience except this isn't acting it is from the heart, from the lived experience. How beautiful. How exciting.

Memories and moments with elderly strangers that become friends and a Maltese tan I can't wait to get back.

How do you capture a whole year in photos and in only 20?
This year moved with the energy of the Wooden Snake: quiet wisdom, deep shedding, gentle transformation.
And yet… there was so much firework ✨
In every form.
The silent kind.
The soft, twinkling kind.
And the bold, breathtaking, beautifully powerful kind.
These moments are only fragments. There are so many loved ones and friends who aren’t pictured you know who you are. Some moments I keep close, some stories need more than 20 photos, and some are simply meant to live in the heart, not on a feed.
I am endlessly grateful for the souls who remain in my beautiful life who love me, accept me, and celebrate me exactly as my radiant self.
Moving forward into the excitement of 2026, with an open heart and a curious spirit.
May all your wishes and dreams find their way to you.
Wishing you all a very happy New Year ✨

Il-Milied It-Tajjeb, Merry Christmas. Pause and have a moment for yourself this Christmas, and when, where and if you can with others. Remember those loved ones past but still in your heart. Remember, as you get to that in-between Christmas and new year period. Stay present. Don't look too far ahead but have those eyes wide open. Open for the beauty of 2026 that will unfold. Sending all the love to all that support me all over the world my dear friends and family.

Like the mirror of a photo. There are memories I said I would never throwback on. But what if those memories are those that you realise are all yours. You made those beautiful moments during a time of chaos now that is pretty special.
