It’s spooky season! I’ve collected so many fun fall minis lately! Had to get them all on display! So many creative makers out there making all these beauties!!!! I assembled my first book and then found the sweetest little shop @frogpondcreative_etsy to make some more for Christmas!

🎃👻 Halloween is a-stirring at The Pretend Department! The cookies are baking, the candy is assembled, and preparations are well underway! There are lots of tricks and TONS of treats in store. And what could make a beautiful fall day even better? A cozy fire crackling, candles glowing, and just a little Halloween mischief around every corner. The kitchen is bustling, the decorations are up, and someone may have already sampled the sweets! 🍬🧁 It’s all wonderfully wicked around here! 🕸️🖤 #ThePretendDepartment #MiniatureHalloween #MiniatureLife #DollhouseMiniatures #TinyTreasures

Rocky was terrified of Mrs. Cook and for good reason. Mary was not fond of “varmints” and often shooed the shy raccoon out of her kitchen. But today Rocky knew he must support his friend Skullatina on the day of her first Jack-O-Lantern endeavor. Besides, it occurred to him that today was the first day of eyeball stew season! #halloween #haunteddollhouse #mini #dollhouse #dollhouseminiatures

The Brownstone needed a new electrical panel. So, after a long day of upgrading I’m relaxing with Chinese takeout and a nice slice of cake waiting for me in the kitchen. My Roomba is set on cleaning mode and life is good. 😌

There wasn't room for posting the floor tiles before. I purchased woodwork from Temu for the trim on the floor edges. @sloan.blake.before.dark gifted the two patio chairs. @sassygirldolls gifted me the fireplace and accessories. The cacti mirrors are from $1 store. Small deck lights are HL. And that cute terracotta church on the deck wall is a Christmas tree decoration. It means everything to me 🥰

I've had several requests over the last two weeks to please post photos of my Southwest house for Chandler and Leesa. The video left out some details. In the courtyard I used the bottom half of the mini plant balls for planters. It has perfect planter lines. I used southwest jewelry where I could, like the cactus earrings, and a necklace over the door outside. See the cute bird bath? The Christmas cactus is just paper, but too much work cutting out, hence just one here. All the floors are posterboard painted to look like tiles. I purchased the spiky silver star, small Talavera bowl, assorted artwork, and small silver horse in Santa Fe. Thanks to @tinyappetite for the small plate in the FR. I used acrylic to make half-windows. Decals from the $1.25+ store. I cut up a tall bamboo stick floor thingy for the viga-inspired ceilings. That's a real copper postcard I bought in Bisbee, AZ. And a real copper ingot on the office wall. It's a heavy little thing. The dining room chandelier is a tea light holder turned upside down, with fairy lights inside. The Talavera tiles are printed and Modpodged. The bedroom headboard is leftover bamboo sticks and a nice beaded bracelet from a neighbor. Blinds are cut up placemats found at a thrift store. Office blind is a pretty napkin. The rest of the furniture is all foamboard, made by me. The fridge is the adorable Zuru brand.
