We are so hyped to have Jason on board as our Forest Service Liaison! There's so much important work happening behind the scenes to maintain access to our Forest Service climbing areas, like on Mt Charleston! Being able to climb nearby when it's 100+ degrees in Vegas is one of the many reasons why Southern Nevada climbing is so amazing. Learn more about Jason in his own words:

My name is Jason and I'm excited to be the Forest Service Liaison for this year! I've been climbing in Vegas since 2013 and moved here with my family permanently in 2020 shortly after my daughter was born. With how much we utilize Red Rock Canyon and the SMNRA, I really wanted to give back some of my own time to help with the community. For this year, I'm stoked to be working with the USFS and the Access Fund as we coordinate a major restoration project for the Mary Jane Falls trail for eventual reopen in 2027. I look forward to meeting folks in our upcoming trail volunteer days in May and June.

🤩 Welcome, Jason @tinydynos !!!

Duplicator (V10) FA

Yet *another* @ryan.lieberman discovery hidden in plain sight. Fun team FA sesh w/ Ryan & @tinydynos, stoked to put up this sloper traverse given the Vegas heat this week. Name felt fitting given the duplicate nature of Red Rock rail problems and how many holds are recycled on this line. Also one of my favorite Calvin & Hobbes subplots. ‘Everything’s a copy… of a copy… of a copy.’

Definitely not my most graceful dismount 😂, but very stoked to finally tick this @tinydynos banger after three sessions of projecting it. Ends a very long benchmark drought.

Split Decisions v4
Low to the 3 star v2 line. Tricky start feet, crimpy with an easy topout.

It is very hot this week and there are very few boulders that fit the bill: in the shade, short approach, not hard on the left hand, only need 1 or 2 pads. Happy to finish thus one quickly with @tinydynos

Cirque Du Soleil V3

I forget how enjoyable it is to just do some fun climbs that moves your body differently. Do a figure four, a tricky mantel, squeeze through a hole or a bat hang. My neck spasmed and I almost fell off because I set my heel too deep on the top out. Got a good laugh today.

I love you @tinydynos
