@tinytabletours did not disappoint!! Mattea was just an engaging and knowledgeable guide. The food was exceptional and such a great variety of items. We enjoyed the history that was presented, not only at each food stop, but between stops about the neighborhoods and history of food in Philadelphia.

This question comes up on Philaqueens like once a month, my birthday is in less than a month, and GENUINELY would be STOKED to celebrate with every single one of these options.

Here are some of our favorite spots from our 5 days in Philly: one of the most underrated cities in the USA.

@tinytabletours through South Philly + the Italian Market
@saophilly
@IndependenceParkHotel built in 1856, it’s the perfect stay in the heart of Old City #BestWesternPartner
@readingterminalmarket (try Beilers donuts, Miller’s Twist, and Di’Nick’s roast pork sandwich)
@Nationalparkservice Walking tour through Independence National Historic Park
@surayaphilly in Fishtown (great thrifting here too)

Will walk (or run) for wine @tinytabletours 🍷🏃‍♀️💨

This wine tour through Fishtown was led by food & drink writer @awomanwhoeats and took us through three urban wineries & cideries that utilize local, PA grapes and apples (fun fact: PA is very difficult to drink wine in 🙄) Check out her upcoming summer schedule for more tours, and book your tickets now before they sell out ($130pp)

MAY 🪐
• Celebrated Laela’s 2nd birthday at her gymnastics party 🤸
• Honored all things wellness at another Be Well Philly Fest!!!
• Went on the first official “Fishtown Wine and Drinks” tour with @tinytabletours🍷
• Toured the new museum at Pennsylvania Hospital and was utterly wowed
• Saw Hit the Lights in concert 🤘🏻
• Had an immaculate meal & time at the @sharingexcess fundraising dinner at @kalayaphilly
• Much-needed meals with friends at @laserwolf_philly and @missiontaqueria
• Two fun bookclub gatherings 📚
• Read 5 books (A Guardian and a Thief, The Road to Tender Hearts, Body Friend, The Fountain, and Red at the Bone) and did not finish one (Theo of Golden; read 100 pages and had to stop)
• This past month, Laela has been LOVING celebrating all her friends’ birthdays — the festivities will continue into June — and singing and dancing along to the Charlie Brown Summer Camp movie. She says “Daddy working” and “Mommy sleeping” (lol), and is very into watermelon right now. She went to the dentist for the first time and did amazing! She asks for hugs when she’s sad and enjoys playing with cars and trucks and arranging fake flowers like she’s the next big florist. She learned how to ride a scooter, and the way she says “oops!” (“ups”) is just the cutest. She also loves singing and dancing to her favorite theme songs with me, right before bed.

Wine & drinks date ✨

@tinytabletours recently launched their new Fishtown Wine & Drinks Tour and it’s the perfect way to kick off your next date night!

We tried wine & cider from local Fishtown spots and learned a bit about the wine scene in a super casual & fun way.

Highly recommend for both locals & tourists! Check out @tinytabletours to book your tour ☺️☺️
