During the Mercury Store Residency, the team was focused on the process—what is efficient, repeatable, and sustainable for the newest version of the script. Tjaša Ferme and Heidi Boisvert analyzing volumetric capture set-up. Actors stand in front of the green screen and perform different movements captured by multiple cameras. These 3D-videos can then be used for hologram projections.

Transforma Theatre joined Mercury Store for a residency to continue work on BIOADAPTING 11:11. The team, composed of artistic director Tjaša Ferme, Technology Director Heidi Boisvert, Producer Jacob Robert van Winkle, and Projection Designer James Daher, joined with resident Mercury Store artists to explore hologram technology for the production. Actors, Jesse Koehler and Liat Graf, stand behind a scrim, which the hologram image is projected on in front of their body in space.

Virginia is certainly for love, and we found all of it at the National Symposium of Theatre at @wlunews ! It was a beautiful weekend of performances, discussions, and connections. We presented My Marlene, and Transforma Theatre artistic director @tjasaferme also collaborated on performance work throughout the weekend. ❤️🌟

Extraño NYC (a veces). Les quiero mi gente neoyorquina.

Mi gente, sigan haciendo lo suyo.

*** Reviewing my life as a theater creature I found this. A powerful work we did in August 2016 in the streets of Wall Street. We did 14 days, 3 performances per day in what is called site-specific theater. I miss these kick-ass people, I miss this type of projects, I miss acting. I miss NYC (sometimes). I love you, my dear New Yorkers. ✨In loving memory of Lionel MaCauley✨

Dearies, keep doing your thing.
