Amazing news!!!!🫶🏻🫶🏻

Our longest stayer SBC euth survivor Iris has been adopted!!! I remember the day we got her she was coughing up blood from severe pneumonia, limping, and very lethargic. With the help of 3 kids of antibiotics, daily nebulizing, infra red heat therapy and an arsenal of immune boosting supplements I nursed her back to health. It was difficult to find her a foster home because she was animal aggressive, but I'm here to tell you those angels do exist.
Do not give up on your foster. Do not banish these dogs to boarding and leave them to die living out their last days in yet another kennel.
There are people out there who have a special love for these special-needs dogs. With enough time, love, patience, and a peaceful environment anything is possible. Iris has been muzzle trained by her amazing mom Tracy who did not give up on her and moving out of busy Silverlake to a peaceful neighborhood in Palm Desert, she now enjoys her walks and has zero reactivity. She sits down when other dogs are nearing. She waits for them to pass and then continues her walk. The perfect home for dogs like this do exist, we just have to be patient and they will come when they are meant to come.

Another Healing Hounds Happy Ending❤️

05/22/64 ~ 05/18/23

After seven weeks of torturous hell, Karen was finally able to have one night of true calm and peace. She left us at 6:30am yesterday morning. Her brother and sisters, Kim, Kathy and Michael, made multiple trips from NY to surround Karen with love and support during a very rough ordeal. Karen and I are so grateful for them, and for the continual messages of love that poured in from her cousins and all of her nieces and nephews — who Karen loved like crazy. I also want to thank my sister Lori and my mom Sandy for their love and support, as well as our friend and neighbor Perla, and our friend and former neighbor Karlyn, who took over for the care of our beautiful foster dog Iris this past week so I no longer had to travel home twice a day. Thank you one and all from the bottom of my heart.

I am so sad and numb right now it’s difficult to find words.

I love you Bunky.
Thank you for being part of my life for over 30 years.
We lived and laughed hard.
And we loved hard.
I’ll miss you forever.
Iris and I are broken-hearted.
💔💔

Pls donate to their fundraiser to help Tracey and Iris. Tracey didn't work for 2 months taking care of Karen. They both need us right now, anything and everything helps.
Rest in paradise Karen i'm forever grateful for all the love you gave Iris and all the love and joy she brought to the last part of your chapter.🕊️💛💐🌈🪽
