SQUATTOBER 👑 | DAY 14

We talk a lot about what we squat, but not enough about what we squat in.

You can be getting stronger and still be reinforcing weakness at the same time.

If your shoe is too soft, unstable, rocking underneath you, or allowing your foot to slide around, your body has to compensate every single rep. Add enough weight and enough years, and those small compensations can mean unnecessary stress being passed up through the feet, ankles, knees and hips.

That doesn’t mean one squat in the wrong shoes is going to destroy your joints. 😂

I’m talking about repetition.
Hundreds of workouts. Thousands of reps. Years of training.

We train for strength, but we also need to train for longevity.

Give your body a solid foundation. For squatting, choose a firm, stable shoe that lets you stay connected to the floor.

Don’t build strength on top of instability. 👑

Sometimes the best product conversations happen right in the gym. 👑

Restore was created from the same philosophy behind King Vitality Wellness: keep moving, keep recovering, and keep doing what you love.

Made with hemp-derived flower, coconut oil, beeswax, and essential oils, Restore is part of the recovery routine for athletes, former athletes who still plan on being lifetime athletes, and everyday people who simply want to keep moving as they age.

Because recovery isn’t only for competition.

It’s for life.

Week 2, Day 8

B-Stance Squats
Lite/Advanced (weighted)
3x10 each leg

i’m definitely going to revisit these because I’m confident that I can master these. I want to challenge myself a little bit more with this one. I’ve been incorporating mobility exercises which i’ll upload later but I didn’t hit them prior to these.. and it shows 😅I did, however, do a 2 mile Zone 2, 40 minutes run prior to this. 🫪🫪🫪 anyways, Keep It Moving!
