POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

There are some moments in motherhood that words can’t fully capture. This is one. My son, Tmicah invited me to join him for Spelman College Sports Business Career Fair 📈

I’ve spent my life strategically navigating, sacrificing and living my ancestors wildest dreams — always hoping that my children would see more than what I accomplished but envision what was possible for them ❤️

Now I get to watch both take pieces of what they’ve learned from parenting and turn it into something that is positive and uniquely theirs to own and be proud of. Whether that’s my business acumen or passion for strategizing what’s next for people pursuing more personally and professionally. At 51 I’ve lived a little bit and my network is incredible; ready to assist whoever I send their way 😊

Tmicah has had tough love parenting, snatched out of circles that could’ve led him down a destructive path, a balanced young man full of fire and love, got common sense and college educated. He’s working hard toward his MBA, now serving as CFO of TJ Sports Complete — stepping into responsibility, learning the business, making decisions that acquire revenue, and helping build something that I started nearly two decades ago.

The part that makes me the proudest:
He is not living in my shadow.
He is standing on my shoulders.

I never wanted him to simply follow my footsteps. I wanted him to understand the road, learn from my journey, and then have the courage to create his own. CAU Motto: Find a way or Make one 💡

My greatest accomplishment will never be a title, a degree, a business, the bag or a room I’ve been invited into.

It will be the people I impacted and helped get to their dreams - and I am grateful to be STILL living mine 🙌🏾

Watching T become a man who is smart, driven, responsible, and committed to building his own future while contributing to our family legacy…That’s the work that means the most to me.

My children are my best work. Not because they are watching and following me… but because they are becoming who God predestined them to be ❤️

Good afternoon family & friends,
As many of you may know, I conferred my degree in December, however, my graduation ceremony is this Monday, May 18th @ the Georgia World Congress Center, Building A. All are invited. Doors close @ 9:15am. The ceremony starts at 10a.

First male in my generation of the family lineage to graduate from college. I am proud to follow the HBCU legacy of both of my parents. Thank you all for playing a part in my success now and in the future.

Love y’all, Grad T 🤑💙🎓

Today the family discussed #kwanzaa principle #Kujichagulia which means self determination ✨

So want to pause to say I’m grateful for what we as a village have put in my kiddos. They know it’s tough love building them for a future without me & to have their own. Understanding the struggle our ancestors had to access education, Tmicah honored them + set his family up for a better future as our first male of his immediate cousins to graduate from college, now working PT @atlhawks that’s @hbcueliteorg 👨🏾‍🎓 And T’Miyah is our merit scholar who is persevering to finish senior year of high school while working @publix + playing soccer, applying for scholarships to her top colleges of choice (most of which she has already been accepted @KSU), biology major (future pediatrician) 👩🏽‍🏫

If you have info or opportunities for my babies please be a gift + share (gr8ful to those who already do) 🙏🏾🎁

It’s important what we put in our kiddos but #Kujichagulia reminds us to allow them to define & speak for themselves #proudmom ❤️

There was a #Grinch who literally & figuratively tried to steal #Christmas but one thing our family knows is Jesus is the Reason for the Season. Family is a gift #ohthejoy |Game night was LIT #foe❤️
