POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Becoming a father came with a lot of different emotions, but i was never scared to handle my responsibilities. I was never worried about being able to provide and set an example. I come from a lineage of exceptional men. Growing up I had to overcome a lot by myself, but i never let my situations or obstacles define me. I never let the hard times overcome me, i got a spirit of stick-to-itiveness. Raising a black boy in america while also being a black man in america is one of the most challenging things in the world to do. In a world that looks at you as less than, as a joke, hates you, tries to degrade you, etc. With all these negatives thrown our way, we still rise to the occasion and come out on top. So I will continue to teach my son to lead with love and to be a leader, not a follower. I’ll continue to teach him that we don’t fight hate with hate, we fight hate with success. Because success cannot be denied, it cannot be belittled. I’ll continue to teach him to follow in the word of god and to put his trust in the lord, to have a godly spirit. I’ll also continue to teach him of his heritage, where he comes from and how his ancestors paved a way for him to make a difference in this world with his god given talents. I will teach him to be unapologetically black and to always want to learn more about his heritage and his ancestors. I’ll teach him to always have a mindset to want to learn more from others and to never be arrogant or naive about anything. I thank god everyday for you Titan Andre Jones, you are my testimony that anything is possible no matter the situation. You are my greatest example of what pure love looks like and how love conquers all. We both will continue to help each other grow and be great, we are destined.🌍🥇 taken in Stand On Business by @tmicahh
